Staff was pleasant and doing their best to stay calm, friendly and professional despite the fact that they were set up for failure. Location was close to downtown/beach without being in the middle of the chaos. Close to Meijer and Walmart. Breakfast was on time and hot. Bed was comfortable. They did end up discounting our stay due to the inconvenience of the negative parts of our stay, for which we were grateful.

I traveled here earlier this week for vacation, I ended up spending two nights in Ludington. Plenty of sights to see, whether it's the beaches, the lighthouses, the Port of Ludington Maritime Museum, or the Historic White Pine Village. The traffic isn't terrible and it's easy to drive around. Make sure to go downtown, there are plenty of stores and it's a safe place to walk. There are some great breweries down James Street as well. Make sure to go to Ludington Bay Brewing Company.

Ludington was absolutely beautiful!

Ludington was absolutely beautiful! A very clean city with everything we needed in a short distance. Parks and beaches were very convenient and VERY clean. Lots of fun little places to go for shopping and just as many paces to just enjoy nature. Definitely coming back!

Rode carferry SS Badger, terrific beaches and lighthouses to climb, plus has a great brewpub Jamesport Brewing Company. Had several starters to share and all were amazing, especially the pecan crusted perch! Seasonal beers were fantastic!

Ludington is a nice coastal beach town.

Ludington is a nice coastal beach town. Cute downtown area with great places to eat and nice shops to visit. Lake Michigan is gorgeous. The lighthouse are beautiful. Lots of fun activities are happening around the beach.

Charming small town on Lake Michigan.

Charming small town on Lake Michigan. Plenty of shops and restaurants. "Table 14 Restaurant" is not to be missed!! Really excellent. 👌 Don't miss "curated vintage" store "Sexy Nomad"! Amazing! Walked to the beach and walked out to the lighthouse. All in all a lovely day. We watched the Badger ferry come in, which was very impressive.

I love Ludington!

I love Ludington! The residents are big supporters of the Badger! We went to the Old Hamlin restaurant; the food was good, the service great! They have awesome old pictures of ferries throughout the years. The people of Ludington are so very friendly!! I highly recommend a stay in Ludington once you arrive from the Badger. I really like how Ludington has BIG parking lots for downtown traffic to park on (rather than Ludington Rd/Dr). Ludington really is a great place to visit. We were there this time for the Mason County State Fair, and it was a lot of fun.

A clean , comfortable hotel. Has a large car park which is free. The location is fantastic and is right on the main street which has numerous shops, bars, restaurants etc. It is also handy for embarking on the SS Badger, a 2 minute drive away. Despite the Tiki bar being open , we were never disturbed or heard it.

Fabulous historically preserved property but with all modern amenities. Breakfasts were magnificent and comprised of different foods from around the world. Great location to walk into Ludington centre and to explore the region in a car.
