It was very clean and beautiful. Kitchen was well stocked. The blankets were very soft and had good weight too them. Felt like a weighted blanket, was very comfy. Shower head was awesome and unique. Love that thors hammer was there. As a comic nerd that was very cool.

FAQs about hotels in Newport

What Guests Said About Newport:

I like Newport.

I like Newport. They have many restaurants and gas stations, plus a couple of the big box stores. If you are there to tour the Smoky Mountains it is a great option for pricing on hotels and not far from all of the attractions of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville.

The city is much larger than I thought.

The city is much larger than I thought. It has many modern and urban places. Many large chains, and some good local places. We had ice cream at The Creamery, it was very, very good! The Wal-Mart was a good size. We had dinner at Arby's one night and it was clean and good. One night we had Papa John's and it was also good. The fuel prices were comparable to the rest of the area. Signage was good and GPS was correct, which can be an issue when traveling. I would have liked to travel and visit more places while there, there were plenty of things to look at.

So be prepared to be scammed. 1 the cabin is located on a steep mountain with unpaved road when rains road is sketchy. 2. No room for boat. People who rent camper at end of drive agreed of location and that they should have disclosed that in details. 3 Guys the property owner sent was telling him same thing about road and they was going to work with him on refund. 4 gave partial refund and kept cleaning fee. I never stayed a night there. So if you like taring your 4x4 to get to this cabin go for it. When I had to back down this road. My boat drug me down the hill it was so steep. Booking.com said they couldn't do nothing. So the heck with them and the heck with this Foreigner who owns this cabin on top of a mountain that only 4wd can get to. I wish I could post the pic of the drive so people could see it. I guarantee people be like nope! don't let the pics they took on here fool you. not even close.

This is a nice motel. It appeared to be clean.

This is a nice motel. It appeared to be clean. They do have an elevator that worked perfectly. It is very close to I-40 and it is behind a little convenience store/truck stop that is open all night so you can get snacks if you need to. The person who checked me in was nice, but not overly friendly. That was fine with me. The TV was small, and I had trouble seeing the show that I watched. The bed was just barely comfortable enough for me to get a half decent night's sleep. The pillows were way too small IMO. I don't know if they have any breakfast since I left at 5:30 AM, however there was no coffee in the coffee dispenser at that time. This is the second time I have stayed here. The first time I paid on an app, then the motel clerk charged me again for the stay. I got a refund with the help of the booking service, but it was a hassle. The extra charge was not entered on the night I stayed, but it was entered a few days later. The reason I noticed it right away is that I am a travelling salesman and I knew I was somewhere else on the date the extra charge was entered. Take from that what you will.

Very ran down.

Very ran down. We ate at Ruby Tuesday’s in front of our hotel. It was not good at all. We both got steak that we were told was sirloin but it was paper thin and overcooked. The restaurant itself appeared old and not very clean. There isn’t much to do in Newport. The whole town just gave me the feel of “dirt”. As if the entire town needed a good bath and fresh paint.
