The mansion is perched on a hill off the road up a long driveway therefore very quiet yet only a mile to town and several excellent restaurants. The grand old building is a jewel with modern conveniences. It was decorated for Xmas with garlands, festive lights and giant nutcrackers on guard

For the most part my room was very clean. Bed linens were clean and fresh as were the towels. I checked in late in the evening but the guy at the reception desk was very nice and curtious. Sry I didn't take any pics to share 😐

This town is just right with several antique shops, a cookie...

This town is just right with several antique shops, a cookie shop, an ice cream shop, several restaurants with surprisingly excellent food. Nearby is James Madisons plantation and restored main house and an hour's drive to Patrick Henry's plantation. You can see the desk where both the US Constituions and the Give me Liberty or Death documents were written.

Orange is a great place to visit.lot to see and do. I grew up in orange left right out of high school. Always enjoy coming back. It is really an amazing experience for one to visit. The people are always welcoming and friendly.

Great little town with terrific restaurants.

Great little town with terrific restaurants. We've been there before and will go back. We are genealogists doing research at local courthouses and have found Orange to be centrally located with the best accommodations and dining options. It's also close to Montpelier, Monticello, and Charlottesville for those wishing to do some great sightseeing.

This was my first visit to the area. The hotel was clean enough. The phone in the room did not work. The vending machine is only on the 1st level. The bed was very lumpy. The food nearby is fast food. The restaurant the hotel recommended did not answer their phone. I finally found a decent Italian restaurant so that I could avoid the fast foods. The staff was friendly. Lots of towels were in the bathroom which was nice. I'll be traveling in the area frequently so I may stay there again, but I will bring my own food.

This was the best hotel experience I have ever had...hands down. The management and staff could not have been more helpful, kind and understanding. When they found out we would have to get on the road before we could get breakfast, they packed us a take along selection of breakfast items. If you want to train any future employee on how to offer hospitality...send them to this hotel.
