AustraliaBeautiful location by the sea. Hotel manager Ben was very friendly and accommodating. He gave us a tour of the property and kindly upgraded us to a bungalow facing the sea - complete with binoculars to search for birds and dolphins 😊

Oxford is a very small but beautiful town located on the water. One or two days is all you need to take in the sights and surrounding area. The ferry is a good way to see some things that are further away without having to drive all the way around. Get some ice cream. Sit in the park and watch the sailboats go by. Relax!

Oxford is wonderful to visit in season.
Oxford is wonderful to visit in season. Come when restaurants are open and the ferry is operating (April-Nov). Otherwise it's a LONG way to drive to St. Michael's. Avoid the Robert Morris Inn -- the dirtiest room I've had in all of my 65 years of living. Doc's on the waterfront is a fabulous place to enjoy the sunset - but it is only open during the prime seasons.

Beautiful, quiet location walkable to restaurants, shops and a park with a lovely view of the river. The host is very friendly and helpful. They graciously provided a goody bag of snacks as well as maps and info about the area. Very close to the ferry for exploring the area, driving (or biking) to St Michaels or Tilghman Island. We happened to be there at the time of an amazing art exhibit at the Oxford Community Center. Several good restaurants in the area.

The hotel grounds are beautiful, peaceful and well appointed. The rooms are large and comfortable and our room had an awesome view. The daily delivery of coffee to the door was something we looked forward to each day. Large shower.

The breakfast was excellent. The staff was nice. The hotel was clean and in a great location. There was no TV in the room but that was ok because we were outside in the beautiful town. Parking was easy.

The location was gorgeous. We enjoyed the sunset from the lawn very much. Staff was very helpful. Hotel was in an older building that was well maintained and charming.
