Exceptional place to stay. Especially fireplace was outstanding. Area is also quite relaxing for the people who likes calmness and nature.

The cleanliness of the room and facility was the best thing for me. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable. Parking was suitable. The location was great for our need.

The room was clean, spacious, comfortable and the fireplace was lovely. It right by Asilomar and an easy walk to the boardwalks and beach.

They are both pleasant and make sure that your stay is stop suffering from the lazarus.Comfortable with checking in checking out being a quick process i think I stayed in room one sixteen this time.I've stayed there on many occasions, but this room was very comfortable, and it's going to be considered.One of my all time favorites, I will make sure that I ask for this room each time.I'm in the area.

This place is a favorite with my family- lots of outdoor space to explore and I loved sitting by the fire pit at night and watching the stars

Wonderful breakfast with many options. Rooms were spacious and welcoming. The lobby happy hour was a happy surprise with fantastic service. The hotel was beautifully decorated. Overall, a wonderful property, we cannot wait to return.

The front desk receptionist, Ranjita, helped me check in during this visit and my previous visit here. She was amazing and so accommodating and made our stay 10 out of 10 on both occasions. She made things special for us and because of her, we will continue to stay here when we visit Monterey. Thanks for everything Ranjita!

we did stay here with family for one night only, to go for a whale watching. the room we got was spacious, no issue to fit 5 of us in there. we used the car to go to anywhere we wanted to, center of Monterey I do not consider in walking distance. all the hotel area incl the room was clean, staff was very helpful, breakfast was excellent. if I need to come to Monterey again, I would choose the same place, no question.

This property is soooo beautiful! It’s brand new and super clean, such a comfortable stay. The staff is so nice! They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved the food on site, the pool is heated so swimming in 59 degree weather wasn’t a problem!

A huge bedroom with a fireplace ,full kitchen and dining area, an enclosed deck (meaning private with a high fence) with chairs and a separate space with a tv and couch in case your husband wants to watch sports! The breakfast was good. Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits and croissants, fresh fruits, yogurt, assorted cereals, juices and coffee. The staff monitoring the breakfast were friendly and attentive to details. You can eat inside, outside in a table by the fountain, in the gazebo, or take it to your room. The property is in a neighborhood just off the 17 Mile Dr road. Convenient to go to Monterey, Pebble Beach, and Carmel.

Perfect place for me. The room was super big, lots of amenities, the location at the entrance of ASILOMAR grounds is perfect for beach access, for those interested in that. I was there for a conference; I had a great stay.

Walking distance to a great beach, about a ten minute walk. The gas igniter for the wood burning fireplace made it real easy to have a cozy fire at night. They replenished the wood box daily. Our cabin had a lovely private patio.

This is my go- to place. I have been pleased with the quiet retreat style of being tucked away in beauty and being so close to Asilomar State park beach which is heaven on earth.

The room had many small touches that made it more comfortable - glass and mugs instead of paper cups, excellent Keurig coffee, newly renovated facilities. Friendly hosts and cleaning ladies, walking distance to the beach. Good assortment of breakfast items to bring back to the room. Little seating area in front of rooms to eat in the sunshine. Lovely flowers and plants and pavers for the parking lot/drive instead of asphalt.

The check in and check out people were very nice. The cleaning lady was super nice. We stayed 4 nights. We didn't have our room cleaned but the cleaning ladies let me use their broom to clean our room. We had a baby crawling around. It would be nice if each room had a broom. Overall we loved our experience and plan to come back hopefully each year for a family trip.
