Our experience was amazing. We’ve rented to go to Death Valley during the weekend . Less than 1h driving to the National Park. -The place: This tiny house was spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed, lots of blankets for cold nights, heater… mountain views and plus, the property by their side has lots of animals (pig, horse , ponies, donkey - Very cute that you can see them very close in the backyard). -The hostess: amazing and very caring. When we’ve arrived there was a basket on the bed with water, popcorn, snacks. We felt very spoiled and we saw many other details in there that you can feel the care of them. Self check-in and check-out. I did forget some products on the shower shelf and they shipped me back too. Definitely was more than we’ve expected (and I saw good rate here before booking). Our dog loved too! Would definitely recommend it to everyone!!! Best host ever! Book without doubt! Thank you Psalm and John John!

What Guests Said About Pahrump:

The first time I went to Pahrump was in the 90s.

The first time I went to Pahrump was in the 90s. It has grown considerably in population since then. I have been visiting a friend who lives in Pahrump for the last 21 years. Unfortunately, I don't have many good things to say about it. It's an old wild west town. The roads are paved; the potholes are many. They have "poof dirt" which is bad for your lungs. They have monsoon flooding which is bad for your insurance. I would suggest doing a little research on the cancer rates. All ailments needing specialists means you have to drive and hour into Las Vegas. There is no bus service in town or to Las Vegas. Overall, for ME, I am glad my friend has moved so I don't have to visit here any longer.

Pahrump is an inexpensive option for people looking to visit Death Valley and the surrounding area. Unfortunately, it is just over an hour from the east entrance. Coincidentally, it is just under an hour to Red Rock canyon on the Southwest edge of Las Vegas. Other things to do in the area are Ash Meadows, Dumont Dunes and Tecopa hot springs. Besides that, there isn't much else to do in Pahrump other than wine tasting and Fireworks.

We went to all 5 casinos in Pahrump, and they were all getting old and a bit tired. I really feel the food situation in all of them except Saddle west was very poor Their buffet was exceptional compared to others for lunch/dinner. I was disappointed that the Pahrump valley winery has changed. Not as friendly and homey as I remember it. I was looking for development of the whole area and improvements to some of the lower end areas but i did not see any of that. I am pretty disappointed that Pahrump has not done more to attract people to want to come to Pahrump. I do not find it kid friendly. I will say it is pretty easy to get around if you have something to do.

Pahrump is a bit of a drive from Las Vegas but it is worth the drive if you want to leave the glitz behind. We were in the area for the Ron Fellows Driving School but we did try to explore the area while we were there. One big negative for us was that only 1 casino offers table games and those are limited.

We were looking for a one night stay and had never visited Pahrump before. We had all of our meals at a Denny's not far from our motel and the food was good and the staff were very pleasant. Gas prices were much better than Northern Nevada.

We visited the Museum and thoroughly enjoyed their displays and the information provided by the museum attendant. Good petrol prices. China wok, buffet and grill restaurant had really good food at a good price including Seniors discount.

The room was large, quiet, had fridge and microwave. It was as advertised and comfortable. There was a laundry facility and reception had plenty of quarters available to use there - a number of motels on our hols have the facilities but strangely don't keep a supply of quarters as change. Breakfast was nice too.

The hotel is decent but not exceptional. The room was a bit outdated, but it was clean, which I appreciated. While the furnishings were old, it wasn't uncomfortable for the one night we stayed. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and there was plenty of parking, which was convenient.

I loved that for the first time we had fresh milk in the breakfast package which we could put in our coffee. Even in a 5 star Vegas hotel we didnt have this luxury! Self check-in and check-out were very simple and smooth!

Quiet, clean, helpful and friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet, lots of parking, good location for exploring Death Valley and area. Nearby Terribles Restaurant and Bar open late for food, cheap gasoline in Pahrump.
