My stay at Hotel Turist Samarkand was absolutely delightful, and I cannot recommend this place highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed, not like a guest at a hotel but like a visitor in a caring family home. The hotel is family owned, and this truly shows in every detail. The owners and staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and always smiling. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable, offering help with directions, recommendations, and anything else you might need. Their hospitality feels sincere and heartfelt, which made my stay especially memorable. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast. It was generous, fresh, and delicious, with a wonderful variety of local and homemade options. Everything was prepared with care, and it was the perfect way to start each day before exploring Samarkand. You can really feel the love and effort put into the food. The hotel itself is cozy, clean, and peaceful. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a day of sightseeing. The overall ambiance is warm and calm, making it easy to unwind and feel at home. It’s the kind of place where you actually look forward to returning in the evening. The location is also very convenient, allowing easy access to Samarkand’s main attractions while still being quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! The meet and greet were excellent, and communication during check-in was smooth and friendly. The check-in process itself was quick, warm, and welcoming. We really appreciated the free drinks like tea and coffee throughout the day, and even the washing machine was available for free — such a nice touch! The location is perfect, the furniture is very good, and the room was spacious, clean, and new, all as described. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the bathroom was modern with strong water pressure and a warm, pleasant shower. We definitely recommend this hotel, and if we ever come back to Samarkand, we will surely stay here again! 🌟

Historical landmarks are just one of a kind.

Historical landmarks are just one of a kind. Travelled to Iran 20 years ago and it offered similar beauties, especially in Esfahan, but Samarkand Registan and Gur e Amir will stay in our memories for ever. Nice simple eateries and great people. Used Yandex to travel around, cam by train from Tashkent and took Afrosyob to Bukhara for our next step.

I traveled to Samarkand many times and each time I open...

I traveled to Samarkand many times and each time I open something new - last time I was there I walked through narrow streets in the histroical part of the city and saw traditional centeries old houses and smaller size mosques, some of them locked some still functional.

We were in Samarkand for 2 days and this could be 1-2 days...

We were in Samarkand for 2 days and this could be 1-2 days more. Beautiful city with great Islamic monuments and architecture. Nice cafeterias and restaurants, good food. I would certainly recommend musical fountain show in Silk Road Samarkand! It is great show in every evening, free for everyone.

Samarkand is a place where there is a confluence of old and new. The historic parts of the city have been beautifully blended with the modern outlook. It was originally a trading town which now is being branded as the religious and cultural centre of Islam. Population is also an amalgam of modern and orthodox culture. People are good natured, honest and helpful. Yandex taxi App is much more efficient and reasonable as compared to Ola and Uber. Local transport is well connected. It was a great experience.

Real Gem in Samarkand.

Real Gem in Samarkand. I stayed with my family at their guest house "Nursultan Grand " 2 years ago. We loved their Guest House Nursultan Grand that much either. They have two hotels next to each other. Another Hotel Name Is "Nursultan Boutique". My family all gave high marks to the new hotel too. I have visited Uzbekistan with my family. Among them, Samarkand is one of the most memorable. Samarkand is a very charming city. The people here are very friendly. They are very simple people. After my homeland Bangladesh, Uzbekistan is the country I love the most. If you are visiting Samarkand, I would Recommend” Nursultan Grand” and "Nursultan Boutique" for hotels. Their service quality and hotel ​Environment are simply Great.

Wow, wow, wow. What a city.

Wow, wow, wow. What a city. So much to see and my 3 days here were great. A really good amount of time to not feel rushed. Highly recommend the oddity that is the cemeteries behind shah-i-zinda necropolis. Which is also spectacular and very complete. Also recommend the Emirhan restaurant behind registan square for some really good food and great drinks.

The best hotel I stayed in Uzbekistan, and it wasn't even the most expensive one! The staff speaks English and was very nice and accommodating. The rooms are very nice and new. The beds tend to not be great in Uzbekistan but I found this one very nice. The swimming pool area is also great to chill out in the morning or afternoon. The breakfast was also very nice. It is walking distance from the train station so ideal for an early or late train. A Yandex to the main sites is around 30-35000 soms.

We are so glad we stayed here versus other hotels. It is family run and owned and belonged to the family’s grandfather, and we felt truly welcome and at home from the beginning. We had a really authentic experience of an Uzbek home and would stay here again in an instant. The breakfast was the best we had in Uzbekistan - it was incredible with multiple plates of different Uzbek dishes and variety from day to day. All in all a lovely stay.

Lovely hotel. Incredible breakfast so may lovely local options. We had to order express and pay for them. What is it with hotels in Uzbekistan not providing decent coffee. Rooms are pretty small but clean. Location was a bit of a wall to sites. A decent 20 minutes to the closest site and in summer it’s too hot. Reception staff were really good and could speak some English which helps . Has a really lovely rooftop as well.

The Hotel was exceptionally clean and very shiney. The restaurant on the Terrace was superb - food excellent and Angelina our waitress was fantastic. The rooms are spaceous and you have everything you need.. The restaurant also sells bottles of Craft Beer from Uzbekistan for £1.56p (25000 Som) - Tashkent Lager, Khiva Ale, Bukhara Stout and Registan Garden Unfilteted (German-like) beer which are all fantastic!!!.... but....

I stayed at this hotel twice during my trip in Uzbekistan and it was awesome. Although I arrived at the hotel late without sharing arriving time due to lack of internet connection, staff welcomed me and supported my trip in Samarkand very much.
