Our room was nice with a balcony that overlook the river. I couldn’t believe that there is part of a pretty tree growing from the balcony’s floor to the ceiling for real but it does. We found no problems in communication with the hotel’s staffs at all…They speak English astonishingly. Especially Mrs. Van, the founder of Quang Minh Riverview Hotel, she is a Cat Tien native but more standard in English she performed. I’d never heard a kind of lovely-blended English before (he has all the American, English, even Aussie accents in just one single sentence she said). The restaurant that serves wide-range of local dishes is right above the river, food was beautiful. Multi-layer swimming pool is also offered here. “Crystal clear of water” they use with no chemical substances. I discovered no matter where you are, in the restaurant or swimming pool, you may see the monkeys or the sound of gibbons from the other side of Dong Nai river. We enjoyed the 5km trekking to Crocodiles Lake thanks to Receptionists’ support. What an ideal place for being in nature. A budget-friendly option that goes beyond expectations.

Mr Long helped me with everything I needed to see Cat Tien National Park. He helped me book my stay in the park and my bus back to Saigon. I was also able to barrow his binoculars and keep my bag at the lodge during my stay in the park. What a huge help and convenience that was! Having the binoculars on my trip was really amazing!

I love the staff they were so extremely friendly and nice and helpful for me also I've never been in a completely round hotel room before it was very unique and a great experience with the deck on top with a hammock made it just perfect excellent location close to the national Park all within walking distance a short drive into town for dinner made it for a great evening as well highly recommend great value would stay again for sure.

Cat Tiên is perfect if you want to escape the cities for the forest. Whether you want to walk on your own among Tung trees over 400 years old or have a guide explaining and showing you all their forest knowledge Càt Tiên is worth it. The forest guides are very passionate and will make your trip worth it. There is an abundance of birds and if you are lucky you may see some alligators, gibbons and monkeys.

Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. You are immersed in nature here. The National park is a real gem and we seen so much wildlife. A quiet little town. We found nice places to eat and walked around . Everyone was welcoming and all the little kids would run out to say hello! It is very walkable or you could rent a bike or scooter.

Liked the location, the swimming pool and views from room over the river. The cabin like rooms with stilts over the river and balconies. Restaurant on site was convenient and offered good dinner menu but noisy in the evening. Breakfast less good and room lacked some facilities, needed a bit of maintenance and updating. A lot of people staying and it was very noisy until later than I would expect for a lodge and rural retreat of this kind.

Cat Tien National Park is a wonderful place for a genuine...

Cat Tien National Park is a wonderful place for a genuine rainforest/jungle experience and, if you’re quiet and escape the weekend crowds, you can see some incredible wildlife. Take binoculars! There are paths you can follow either by walking (very hot) or by inexpensively renting a bike and, once you’re deep into the jungle along these paths, you’ll see gibbons and macaques and the most incredible bird life as well as lizards and the most amazing range of butterflies. At weekends, the park is visited by large numbers of young Vietnamese cycling in large groups who are very noisy and have little interest in seeing the exquisite wildlife, so avoid weekends. Everything becomes much quieter and calmer by Sunday lunchtime.

Our 3-night stay at Cat Tien Jungle Lodge was just...

Our 3-night stay at Cat Tien Jungle Lodge was just delightful! The Lodge is built in wood and stone with a spacious garden, ponds and the river that flows just by the bungalows. The rooms are tastefully appointed with comfortable canopy beds with mosquito nets. Our bungalow looked over the river, across from the jungle and its concert of sounds, with a special mention for the mesmerizing call of the gibbons. The restaurant is reminiscent of a romantic tree house and serves great food made from locally-sourced products. The staff are very friendly and the owner, Ms Phuong, was most helpful in recommending hikes in the jungle and boat rides. The lodge also offers sound therapy sessions in a dedicated meditation room. Cat Tien Jungle Lodge is clearly on the top end of accommodation available in the area with a dedication to ecotourism and an unbeatable location on the very edge of the National Park. Our stay was a lovely break from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and we will definitely be back at Cat Tien Jungle Lodge for more jungle adventures!

Must see, if you like the nature.

Must see, if you like the nature. If you do the crocodile lake trail - be aware of lots of sand leeches - leech socks from your hotel are highly recommended. Rescue center is OK-ish, but they moved out all the bears to separate facility, where tourists are not allowed, but there are plenty of animals anyways (monkeys, birds, reptiles). Rapids are ok-ish too (though, I guess depends on the season and rain situation). Be aware, that there are snakes on the National Park territory - exercise caution and look before your feet. During jeep night safari you will probably meet deers, porcupines, boars, few small birds, mousedeers.

Excellent location on the river and a short walk to the ferry to the national park, or they can take you over and sort everything out for you. Absolutely amazing family-owned place, they were so very kind and helpful! The restaurant is decent and they’re happy to pack you a lunch or bring you breakfast if you go to the park early. Really good tour brochures, and they can book anything for you. I stayed in two different rooms and they were both lovely, super comfy beds and lots of viewing platforms with hammocks out on the river.

Communication & info about transport and park activities given by hostel via messages is in English, on-site the people are very friendly but don’t speak English though Google translate works fine to communicate.
