First and foremost the location and view are breathtaking. The staff are very cute and a nice family. Food was delicious and different every meal over the course of three days/two nights.

We got stuck in Bac Quang on our way to Ha Giang due to a major landslide on the road and needed a place to stay. Didn't really know what to expect from this place, but it worked out great. The rooms are pretty basic, but they are very new and very clean and the host was SOOOO nice and helpful to us given our situation. He even arranged a driver to drive us all the way back to Hanoi at a very reasonable price.

If you had asked me right after we arrived in the dark after 10 hours on a motorcycle what I thought of this place, I would tell you there’s no way it was worth it. But when the lovely staff labored on a home-cooked meal for us at 8pm and we got a good night’s rest on a soft bed under a princessy mosquito net and woke up to incredible views, my entire attitude changed. Having to exert considerable effort to get there made it that much more rewarding and worthwhile. Our bungalow was situated on top of a (steep) hill that allowed for privacy, the views were gorgeous, and the extra outside toilet was also a huge thrill.
