This is a hidden gem. If you want an authentic experience of Hue, staying here will give you best of both worlds. Close to so many important sights and historical places but a short ride to the city. The place is super cool, the room was big and well decorated. A good place to serve as a homebase for both long and short stays. The hosts makes authentic Vietnamese food and are very knowledgeable about the area and super welcoming and helpful☀️

Good location near everything easy acesso to transportation restaurants. The location was great. The staff was very helpful.

The room its big with bright sunlight shining in the room. Comfy bed , good AC , big Wardrobe, hot shower water.,,, many plugs inside the room,, There its refill water in the house,, and can rent the motor bike,, There its three cute kittens can play with ,,, The messages reply its very efficinet,,, The location its outside the main city area but its 5 mins on bike can reach,, fresh air and quite morning / evening

We loved the property, including that it was set 15 minutes away from the downtown area, so it was nice and quiet. Our room was very nice also.

The breakfast had a variety of foods and was kept well stocked throughout the breakfast hours. The front desk staff was helpful in translating when we attempted to order food or transportation.

The room decoration and service were outstanding.

Fantastic and cosy hotel which is in the city where you can go and explore many favorite sightseeing places. Friendly staff from reception to FB staff even I couldn’t understand them 100% as Hue accent. The manager at front desk Ms Phu ( if I remember her name correctly) she is very nice and helpful with hospitality mindset, she even helped me to make a whole city tour itinerary in order to fully experience Hue “Thương “.

Hali feels like a beautiful home in nature, that I will always want to return to! First of all, the homestay is stunning!! it's brand new and incredibly well-thought-out, it was an absolute joy to be surrounded by such a beautiful aesthetic. I was astonished by the level of attention to details; the wooden furniture is so unique and of best quality; everything is so stylish, from the overall house & room design to small things like glass water bottles and stylish slippers - it just shows absolute care for guests. The bed was extremely comfy, the bed linen and pillows are of highest quality. The room and the whole house was spotless - the cleaning team made the house shine! The green plants are tucked in every little corner, which makes you feel connection to nature. I also want to point out that everything smells amazing at Hali. The pool area is beautiful, too! We lived in King room with balcony and had a lush green view from the trees. It was extremely quiet in the night too, so we had the best sleep there. But best of all were the people running Hali Hillside Retreat. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Thanh, Duc, and their families. They are extremely welcoming, polite and friendly, and made sure we feel like home at the Hali. You can truly feel the family's love poured into this property, which, to me, is the most meaningful part of a stay like this. They even treated us with local fruits and snacks, and helped me with laundry and receiving my deliveries. I am already looking forward to booking a much longer stay at Hali next time!

Marvelous all around. Great bed, big room, great bedding, nice pool, Divine breakfast, nice family, even a coy pond. The neighborhood is spectacular for walking, 5 stars if you're a Buddhist.
