Location was great , the new upgrades have really taken it to a new level. The variety of food on the menu is great , we have supper there and we tried a little bit of everything and it was very satisfactory.

Great, secure location just off the highway on our way back to Joburg from Cape Town. The family room fit our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 young kids) well. The shower pressure was awesome and water got hot which was great. The room was well appointed with mini fridge, coffee and tea supplies. WiFi was good. The beds were comfy and we had more than enough towels.

Beautiful location and friendly and helpful staff. Catered for my nieces vegan needs (both dinner and breakfast) which made her very happy. Delicious lamb dinner for me. Went on an impromptu gamedrive and saw a range of buck.

The staff at Kuilfontein were so helpful. They allowed me to book for my father, and helped me organise dinner for him in advance. He really enjoyed the Karoo Lamb and Springbok carpaccio.

Although the town is small it is just perfect as a overnight...

Although the town is small it is just perfect as a overnight stop for your trip to and from the Cape. The people we dealt with were very friendly and were all extremely polite and was very interested in your travel and would ask questions about how your drive has been and wished you well on your journey. The people never disappoint.

An unexpected discovery in the Karoo.

An unexpected discovery in the Karoo. I expected a sterile stopover on the way to the Cape but this little town has character and history. Beautiful small streets with traditional houses, lovely restaurants and smiles all over! It just saddens me to see how mismanagement and incompetence has allowed this little gem to deteriorate. So many potholes, and weeds growing along the roads, litter in the streets, and just a general impression of neglect leave a sad taste in my mouth …

We were only there on a stop over, but the town and overall appearance of it was kept, tidy and clean...distance from N1 to lodging was perfect. Would like to take some more time to explore the town

The sunset and the peace and quite was great.

The sunset and the peace and quite was great. This was our second time. Phumlani was like always a great host. The only thing I would recommend is that I would suggest that they offer you firelighters for the fire - but thats just a minor thing. And the fact that you can take your dog was so great

we only stayed one night but the room was great and we...

we only stayed one night but the room was great and we lacked for nothing. the Inni Kraal resturant was only 200m down the road and the food is suberb with a nice cosy space to enjoy supper. our hostess was very nice and efficient and i would definitely stay there again if i am in the area.

The streets are kept clean.

The streets are kept clean. It is easy to find your way around town. We ate at Bordeaux - the food was delicious, and the service was food. The people in town were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We visited the Chargo Farm Stall and were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of goods on sale. Colesberg is definitely a must visit when travelling from Gauteng to the Cape
