Hopetown is a rural town that suffers from neglect like all platteland towns in South Africa. To find a gem like this lodge just up stream was a delightful surprise. The food was excellent, the staff helpful and just hiking around the farm and watching the game was greatly ( I don’t fish, but apparently this is a great spot!)

The hosts were very friendly and the units were neat and very clean. A big plus for us was being able to take our dogs with us. It is quiet and peaceful and I would highly recommend them as a stay over on a long trip.
