United StatesA clean ,practical & comfortable apartment - lovely views , with a fabulous breakfast served next door from 8-10 am . This also serves as a restaurant with an upmarket gift shop with wonderful views and helpful staff - just check the restaurant is open re evening meals as it’s seasonal but highly recommended . Car parking is free , open but quiet & safe . . A lovely experience and they spoilt us by giving us a complimentary upgrade super apartment with river mouth views. Thank you !

United StatesA comfortable apartment supplied with everything you need for cooking a full meal. A great shower. Solar electricity really helps when load shedding is happening. The beach and main town center is just a couple of blocks away. The Simbuya game drive is absolutely amazing!

Paradise on earth! Want to go back. So much to see and do.
Paradise on earth! Want to go back. So much to see and do. Loved swimming in the ocean and in the Estuary. Boknes Lagoon was a wonderful treat. We also walked to Shelley Bay, which is breathtakingly beautiful.

A great little town with beautiful beaches and river frontages. Lots of little places to visit around town as well. Prefer it out of season as it becomes very busy and you loose the charm. A coastal gem that invites you to slow down and enjoy the sea air

This is the place to stay for easy access to Private Game...
This is the place to stay for easy access to Private Game Reserves and Safaris. Recommend Addo Elephant Park, Pumba Private Game Reserve & Sibuya. The restaurants were amazing too. Stanleys is a must. Pizzarella have amazing pizzas. Vollo and Voila also great.

It is a small town, but you are able to get all types of shops. Your grocery stores, pharmacy and all other necessities. It is very clean. The beach is clean. The restaurant at Woodlands serves a variety of delicious food. With very friendly and polite staff members.

Nature park Kariega nearby with the big 5 . which sadly we did not have time to visit on this trip.

The roads are atrocious if you drive a sports vehicle - would have been better if we used my Toyota Hilux
People in the area are super friendly! Great vibe, coffee shops and local produce.
Good and bad restaurants abide. Ask the locals for advice.

We had an excellent stay at the River Cottage. Fantastic views of the river, with Impala nearby giving you a touch of the wild at the same time. About 10 minutes drive from Kenton on Sea. We will be back - next time a slower itinerary to spend more time at the property itself 😁
There was a power outage one day of the stay, however emergency lighting and a gas stove was made available to us to assist. The host was very accommodating to our needs.

The cottage was clean and extremely well stocked. We had comfortable stay as a family of 3 - the host even arranged a cot for our baby. The internet/wifi speed and connectivity was excellent. The cottage is centrally located in Kenton on Sea, within walking distance from all the shops and main beaches. The host also had some excellent recommendations on restaurants. The cottage was cleaned daily.

We know Kenton on Sea and the beautiful sandy beaches between the rivers Kariega and Boesman. Blue flag! Dunwerkin is ideal situated to go there by foot. A lovely garden, we fired the grill in front of the house. All what need a household is in equipent in the kitchen. On the second day we kept a wonderful pizza from the near Pizzarella. A very quiet place. The car was locked in a garage.
