Nice quiet place, however it is full of potholes.

Nice quiet place, however it is full of potholes. The municipality like many in our country lacks in the delivery of a good road network. The place has potential and the provincial government and local council can do better by investing on the road network. It is a town that I can migrate to.

Noticed that people are friendly and always eager to assist if not sure of the direction you want to take. Shop assistants very helpful. we went to ShopRite, it was great. At KFC, we were assisted placing the order online.

Good city in general with plenty of open space for its...

Good city in general with plenty of open space for its growth but the crossing between Dadford and Proctor can be frustrating with the traffic that leave you stranded. Also the Dadford road full of holes, need to be maintained until it is either tarred or paved (I might confuse between Dadford and Proctor which one is tarred). I found the city people to be friendly and helpful. That alone can make you visit the city regularly. And the weather was fantastic, warm . Unfortunately there was no opportunity to visit the game reserve. Next time Issue of plastic bags laying in some open space must be sorted out. They give a dirty image on a city with good potential for growth. Lately, issue of reaching the city either by plane or coaches should be resolved. It is a pity that no plane could be found to shorten the distance with Gauteng. Even coaches where not available between Gauteng and Mahikeng. Resolving the issue of public transport between the Gauteng hub and Mahikeng could increase the number of tourists flocking to this warm city

The protea hotel as a venue for my meeting was very good.

The protea hotel as a venue for my meeting was very good. The service from this hotel was perfect t. I did not like the venue that I had booked into for the weekend. The drivers are very careless and do not follow road rules. Visited the mall which was very nice. Had breakfast at Wimpy and enjoyed this.

Mahikeng is my home. My visit was family related.

Mahikeng is my home. My visit was family related. We had the unveiling of tombstones. I ate mostly at home however ate at one of the restaurant selling nice chips next to a restaurant selling chicken, etc. Also at Wimpy. Yes, I have been to Maftown from my early age until now. I do not have young children. However, would go to the casino etc

We were just happy for the accommodation.

We were just happy for the accommodation. Next time just give the guest heads-up or option to choose the upstairs room or ground room. Carrying suite cases upstairs can be a disadvantage especially when you are staying longer. Overall, the place was just perfect.

This place have the best,clean,neat villas around Mafikeng,with a very fair affordable prices. Their staff is exceptional especially the Owner if the place,he gave us the best hospitality ever experienced. We will definitely go back there. We had a 3 bedroom villa,and it was just me and my other brother...we even bought grocery and cooked in their kitchen...everything was perfect from parking,the security was the best. If they can add pool area then the place will be 11/10.
