The Protea Cabin was beautiful and the surrounding woods was so peaceful, with lots of birds to watch not to mention our little friend the Duiker (small buck) that visited us a couple of times, making for an amazing stay. Don't forget to visit the little farm coffee shop the chocolate cake is a must. With breath taking views of the Drakensburg.

Even though our 2 bedroom flat looked out onto a very pretty courtyard, it was just a few steps away to the front garden where you have a lovely view over the mountains, with a pretty setting in a gorgeous garden. The flat was beautifully decorated and furnished, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had a Nespresso Coffee machine which is a big treat. It was quite hot when we stayed over, but there was a fan in the bedroom as well. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. I have already recommended Khanyeni to friends and family. I will most definitely return, as it was really good value for money as well. I'm so pleased to have discovered this gem.
