We had such a lovely experience at Victoria Oaks Guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and genuinely friendly. Sylvester, our host, went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and at home. Our room was perfectly located at the quietest end of the property – peaceful and private. The bedding was warm, the shower hot, and everything we needed was in place for a restful night. Although we only stayed one night, we would definitely choose to stay here again. A special thank you to Sylvester – we accidentally left a jacket in the cupboard, and within an hour he phoned us to let us know. He even stayed up late to ensure we could collect it safely the same night. That kind of care and attentiveness is rare and so appreciated. Thank you, Sylvester. You are a real gem!

Such a lovely little town filled with charm and character. Quiet and peaceful it was a lovely place to say over on our way from Joburg to Cape Town. If you able to stay over in this lovely little town its worth the visit!

Northern Cape - Victoria Wes - typical South African platteland town. Steeped in tradition, a long history and an atmosphere of pride and friendliness. Few people can remain untouched by the wave of nostalgia.

The room was clean and comfortable, the pool was a bonus considering the temp was 40 degrees out that side of the world, we will always stay with them if we are that part of the world. Manager Sylvester was awesome!

It is a small dusty Karoo town but with a passion to grow and improve. A must is a visit and a tour of the art deco Apollo Theatre with its interesting history. If you are wanted a great meal then visit K-Roux restaurant situated on the main road through the town.
