We loved the walks along the coast both on the beach and...
We loved the walks along the coast both on the beach and along the cliff top and down onto the rocks. The Waenhuiskraal Cave was well worth visiting. The fishing traps on the way to the Baken were very interesting. Enjoyed wandering around the fishing village of Kassiesbaai and watching the small fishing boats landing and all the activity as the fishing catch was brought in. Arniston is well positioned for trips to nearby Struisbaai, L"Agulhas and the Shipwreck Museum in Bredasdorp.

We enjoy the fishing village of Kassiesbaai , and would recommend Willene's Restaurant for a bite to eat . They are not licenced so take your own wine .The beaches are excellent and safe and the water is warm , The walk to the cave along the rocks is a must do .

Location great. Walking is possible in both direction.meals was nice at hotel, breakfast great!
Kassiesbaai visits great. Wandas Restaurant the best.
Room had pool view on ground floor, was larger than normal, enjoyed BUT the ceiling fan not sufficient, the room was stuffy and hot and didn't cool down during the night. Improvement is a must. Bathroom also very stuffy.

The staff at the Arniston Hotel and the Manor House were fantastic, helping our family out with last minute accommodation on a Sunday night when the home we'd booked was locked up on arrival (in the scheduled timeframe) with no note or explanation at the time and no way of contacting the owners travelling abroad. Booking.com was unable to find alternative accommodation for us and for several hours we were stranded but we then found out from a helpful manager at the Arniston Hotel that there was availability at the newly opened Manor House. This turned out to be a real gem - luxurious, comfortable, quaint and tastefully furnished. Our stay there also included a full buffet breakfast at the Arniston Hotel which was of a very high standard. We loved our trip to the caves the next day and were just sorry we couldn't get to spend an extra day in Arniston as we'd originally planned.

ARNISTON HAS PRISTINE BEACHES WITH VISIBLE LIFEGUARDS. THERE ARE SHOPS CLOSE BY FOR FOOD AND OTHER NECESSITIES. FAMILIES AND CHILDREN CAN PLAY GAMES ON THE BEACH WHILE ENJOYING ICE CREAM AND COFFEE FROM FOOD TRUCKS.

The location of the property is excellent, in Kassiesbaai which is a heritage area, with a view of the sea and within walking distance of the little harbour and the Arniston Hotel. I liked it that I stayed in one of the traditional fisherman's cottages and that the house is lovely and spacious and the bed I slept in was very very comfortable and the bedding was clean.

Loved that the staff were able to meet my requests (delicious breakfast packs at 1:30am), larger room to accommodate our gear and that they had delicious bean to cup coffee! Views on the roof were breathtaking! Had the feel of a home and did not have the bustle of a hotel. Staff were amazing!
