Cottages in Baslow

Our hosts left a sweet treat for us, and I had mentioned that we may need some ice for my husband's sore knee and they had an entire bag ready for us!! The washer/dryer was so helpful. I loved the deep bathtub with shiny knobs. I so wish we could have stayed longer!! The games and books ready for us, the wood, ready for the fire, the amazing kitchen I wish we could have used more. I loved using the pretty dishes. Thanks for a lovely stay!!

This apartment was one of the highlights of my four weeks traveling through the UK. Generously spacious throughout. Every room is substantially larger than most apartments I’ve stayed in. Large living room, fully functional kitchen, dining area, spacious bedroom, and an oversized bathroom with a large shower and excellent water pressure. This was the first apartment on the trip where I truly felt I had real living space — more like staying in my own home than a rental. The bed was sumptuously comfortable. Slept exceptionally well here. Location is excellent — right in the center of Bakewell and an easy walk to shops, pubs, restaurants, and the town itself. Dedicated parking just steps from the apartment made arrival and unpacking effortless, with none of the usual hassle of searching for parking. The owner was also an excellent communicator and stayed engaged throughout the visit. I had a question about operating the stove and she responded immediately by phone. Honestly wished I had booked additional nights here. Easily the nicest apartment I stayed in during this UK trip and genuinely difficult to leave. Highly recommended.
