United StatesOur hosts left a sweet treat for us, and I had mentioned that we may need some ice for my husband's sore knee and they had an entire bag ready for us!! The washer/dryer was so helpful. I loved the deep bathtub with shiny knobs. I so wish we could have stayed longer!! The games and books ready for us, the wood, ready for the fire, the amazing kitchen I wish we could have used more. I loved using the pretty dishes. Thanks for a lovely stay!!

Really lovely cottage in great location. Conveniently just off the Maunsell trail and not far from Castleton/Mam Tor walk. Very cosy, comfy beds and great living space. Thanks for the biscuits and milk!

Amazing cottage with wonderful views and brilliant location. Set along a quiet track with no motor traffic other than those coming to the property it provides a great countryside escape for those wanting to slow down for a while.
Gail and Nick were very accommodating of a last night change to our requirements - which was very welcome. They also provided wonderful insights into the area and attractions - and answered every question fired at them from our inquisitive children.
The hot tub was enjoyed by all!

Beautiful place,very spacious,lovely views with hot tub .Donkeys are very friendly and are a good feature.The furniture is amazing,really like the way it is decorated.The gardens are lovely,very peaceful and amazing to wake up to the sound of birds tweeting .Cosy fireplaces on either side of the property .Amazing views from the windows from inside the property and amazing views from the gardens.nice to sit in the hot tub and look at the surroundings.Good location in the middle of Peak District

Me and my mum felt at home the moment we walked into the cottage as it was so cosy. Claire, the host was great with communication and has gone to great lengths to make this a comfortable stay. We were provided with breakfast supplies and a bottle of Prosecco which was a lovely treat! The cottage was very clean too. The hot tub was the cherry on top and made our stay extra special. I would definitely recommend going for walks in the village as there are some nice cafes and a pub nearby.
We will definitely return in the future!

Lisa was an extremely helpful host. I left something behind and she immediately contacted me and offered to mail it for me. The cottage is charming and cosy. Highly recommended.

Charming, character stone cottage only 5 mins walk up the hill from Bakewell village. Lovely, homely furnishing and linens etc. Complimentary breakfast and other goodies. Spacious bedrooms.

A lovely cozy quirky farm cottage. Had an amazing stay, loved the old style of building with exposed timbers. The cottage was nice a warm too and the kitchen underfloor heating helped with keeping the feet warm in the morning. Would happily go stay again.
