Knockstone Cottage is a beautiful 5* cottage furnished to a very high standard with an unusual upside-down layout. As you enter the property, just off a private patio area complete with bistro set, you enter a smart entrance lobby with coat hooks, cubby holes for boots and wellies and stone floor. The dinning kitchen and sitting room are located on the first floor while the bedroom, shower room and dressing room are located downstairs. The sitting room is elegantly furnished and is very cosy with its wood burning stove and Smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Downstairs is the bedroom with a kingsized bed and USB ports by both bedsides. The dressing room has a dressing table and a wardrobe with ample storage space, a hairdryer is provided. The shower room has a marvellous walk-in shower and heated mirror. Hotching Barn is a stunning 5* barn conversion with wall panelling throughout. It has a glazed wall on the mezzanine floor where the bedroom is situated with a kingsized bed, quality bed linen and USB ports by both bedsides. It has underfloor heating throughout the downstairs and has an open plan sitting room, with Smart TV and wood burning stove leading on through an original stone archway to the fully equipped kitchen with microwave, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Double French doors open onto a private patio area with bistro set where you can enjoy the tranquil surrounding. The fully pannelled shower room has a walk-in shower and heated mirror. The barn is furnished with a mix of vintage and modern furniture. Both cottages have free off road parking, free wifi and each has its own private patio. Subject to availability, these cottages could be booked together enabling two couples to holiday together in separate accommodation. Hi I'm Jules, I've lived in the beautiful Peak District for most of my life and have dogs, horses, a couple of pet sheep and rescue hens. I love the huge skies and breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Our house is an 18th century Derbyshire Longhouse and is located just next to the cottages. I love to greet my guests and am nearby if you need assistance but will leave you to enjoy your holiday in peace.

We're situated in Wheston a stone's throw from Tideswell in a small community within the Peak National Park. There are miles upon miles of walks straight from the property so you won't need your car to enjoy the surrounding countryside. Tideswell, which is just a mile away, has some wonderful pubs, restaurants, cafe, Co-Op, fish and chip shop, bakery and the famous Cathedral of the Peak. We're not too far from the well known Mam Tor, Winnats Pass, Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House seat of the Duke of Devonshire. The Limestone Way is just down the road and there are hundreds of attractions and things to do all within a 15 mile radius. Wheston is an unspoilt working farm community with some pretty examples the Derbyshire Longhouse.
