The dining/lounge area has a beamed ceiling which goes up to the rafters, wooden floor and comfortable seating. One corner is occupied by a well-equipped kitchen. An archway leads into the bedroom, with en-suite shower room. The accommodation is all on one level and offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. TV, Bluetooth radio, free wifi, secure cycle storage, lots of maps, brochures and books on places to visit. One well behaved pet dog welcome (two small ones by arrangement). Short breaks available. The owners live 'over the garden wall' so guests have complete privacy but there is someone on hand if needed.

Set in the attractive quiet village of Chelmorton, surrounded by superb walking country with numerous footpaths in every direction. Lovely quiet lanes and traffic-free trails for cycling, with several cycle hire centres nearby. Within easy reach of several historic houses including Chatsworth, Sudbury Hall and Haddon Hall. The market towns of Buxton and Bakewell are close by, with numerous restaurants and shops. A traditional village pub (which welcomes dogs) serving food is just 5 minutes walk away.
