Location was a bit remote but in lovely countryside, not far from the bay. We loved the room. It was big and comfortable with a small sitting area off the bedroom. Bath was lovely and well appointed and up do date technology. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent. Breakfast was good too. Close to Castle Douglas and lovely gardens near the castle. We would recommend this hotel

The location is amazing, very quiet and relaxing. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard, however the hosts have made it very homely as well. The hosts themselves were excellent with communications and super accommodating. I would definitely stay again.
