The property is great! We stayed in the Purple Villa and had a great view. The host, George, is super nice and very accommodating, and if we needed something, he would get it to us promptly. We were also greeted by a complimentary bottle of wine, which is always a plus.

The whole apartment with a small balcony that has a side view to the sea. It has everything you may need, including a great kitchen even with a selection of spices. Feels like home. There's a small sitting area outside. The sandy beach is a minute's walk from the place, it's small (somewhat crowded during the day) with a great view and lots of fish in the warm calm water. There aren't any stores or restaurants in Mades (a hotel bar at the beach and a mini market 10 minutes away), so come prepared. The host is extremely kind and helpful, very communicative - thanks again!

Quiet place suitable for family relaxing, excellent design / accommodation, fantastic see view, welcome basket very rich and tasteful with local handmade stuff, Stella and Manolios very friendly and lovely people - always ready for meeting any of our requirement with no time restrictions. It is the second time staying in this magnificent and value for money place. We loved it - no need for any further market survey any more

I usually don't write reviews but this one deserves a 10/10. Starting from the incredibly welcoming hosts who were flexible on the check in and out hours. The place was amazing. Space for parking, very clean(and no odors,no moisture) and the view was breathtaking. Better than the photos! Have stayed in many places in Crete and this one stands out

Villa Melenia is a beautifully gated multi-level & spacious villa you have all to yourself that includes several patios and a very large top floor deck to relax (pic #3 taken from top deck). Has all the amenities for your comfort. Catch the sunrise & take in moonlit nights. The villa is thoughtfully decorated with love & warmth. Maria welcomed me with Fruit, Wine, a Fantastic Greek Salad, and Delicious mini pies. She took me through the home, showed all amenities, and was a quick chat away for anything. Very comfortable beds & pillows-so important to start your day! Excellent location to Agia Pelagia, Lygaria Beach, Psaromoura Beach (pic #4-just minutes away), Amnissos Beach, Palace of Knossos Ruins, Sunset Cliffs. Also close to the Harbor to sightsee and/or hop on a ferry to island hop. Maria was accommodating , accessible, replied quickly and gave GREAT dining suggestions including, "Peskasi,” known for their authentic Cretan Dishes. You will also find tavernas or taverns right on the beach(s) for wonderful hospitality, delicious food & drink. Supermarkets & Souvenir Shops are a stone’s throw away. Excellent Value and Choice for small and large groups, solo travelers, & families.. Perfect Host, Perfect Home. Thank you Maria!

The best hosts ever in a beautiful and spacious Villa in a great location. Easy drive from the airport, 10 minutes drive for groceries and the beach and there's even a local Taverna a few minutes down the road. There was enough room for our families to each have their own space but with plenty of common spaces to hang out together. The playroom is great for kids and adults alike. There's a big bbq/dining room/kitchen area which we enjoyed for most of our meals. The hosts are the best! The whole family was there to make a perfect stay for their guests. They were extremely accommodating with our early/late flight schedule, and communication before and during our stay was super-easy and always in good spirits. They kept spoiling us with fresh pastries, eggs, fruit and vegetables, and also made sure the common areas are kept clean throughout our stay. The views from the Villa are breathtaking - don't miss the sunrise and sunset over the mountains. Hopefully we can make it back one day!

I can’t find the words to describe how good it was everything. First of all, the location is right on the beach so you can always hear the waves. It has a beautiful patio in front, a jacuzzy and you can find anything you need. The location is one of the cleanest places I’ve ever been. You can tell that the owner cares about the costumers. Maria was amazing and I am so happy I got to know her. 100% I will go back with my family there.

Location can’t be beat - you’re right on the water, nearby lots of restaurants. Even though you’re in the center of it all, the layout of apartment means the bedroom and interior is still tucked away from noise, so it’s very peaceful at night.
