Cottages in Bernalda

AnnaMaria met us personally to hand off the keys, and show us all the features of the home. Everything was clean and new, they have recently refurbished everything. She provided juice & water in the fridge, coffee, and some special treats. Her family visited us the next morning to say hello, and be sure we had enjoyed our stay. They were delightful hosts! She also recommended local restaurants, and shops with authentic local products. The town of Bernalda was a great place for us to break our driving journey from Puglia back to Napoli. It is an authentic Italian town, without any sign of tourism... walkable, friendly, and scenic located up on a ridge. Not too far from the beaches, or from Matera. It would be a great quiet place to stay a few days, and explore the area. I wish we had more time! We would certainly return to this property if we can swing another Italy trip in the future. The masseria is set in a quiet area and has a wonderful pool and tennis court, which we used on 2 days. Concetta, at the desk was incredibly welcoming and even found us a room in Bernalda when the Masseria could not take us for a second night. We had dinner the night we stayed. It was on the patio, a lovely setting, and the food was really wonderful.

Roberto met us and offered us a coffee, check in was fast and easy,. The pool area was gorgeous, and we had fun with the friendly dogs, cats and donkey. It was a really pleasant stay.

Very clean. Roomy room. Gracious and personalized breakfast. Convenient to Bernalda, Metaponto. Luxurious outside spaces.

A lovely place in the countryside, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Ideal for a quiet stay and rest. The hosts, Angelo and Gianluca, were very friendly and helpful. I would love to return again sometime. One of the best places I have stayed in.

Amazing apartment in the historic center of the town. Clean, cozy, every detail is carefully thought through. In the apartment you will find everything you might need and much more. Hosts are very friendly and supportive. It was our best stay in South Italy and we highly recommend this place!

The location, the accommodation and just overall the hosts are so brilliant and welcoming, it warrants a first ever review I am leaving after so many years of using the platform. The accomodation- it truly feels like you are welcomed to not just an overnight stay over place, but someone's home they built with love and attention. The hosts- truly welcoming. Helping with a restaurant booking for the evening and even helping us out with an emergency booking at a local dentist office. The city itself is very clean, cultural, and safe with very friendly people. Best stop from the beaten path!
