The room was very clean and spacious, and everything was well maintained. The staff were extremely warm, friendly, and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is conveniently located just a short drive from Matera, making it an ideal choice for travelers planning to visit and explore Matera. Free parking was a big plus — there were plenty of parking spaces available, and it was completely free. Breakfast was complimentary and offered a wide variety of choices, all very enjoyable. As a lovely surprise, when we checked out, the hotel even gave us some homemade pasta, which was a really thoughtful and memorable touch. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Matera

The location, the hand-delivered delicious breakfast, the view...everything! We had no idea what we to expect and the room was absolutely amazing. We just wish we could've stayed longer. Staying in the Sassi and experiencing Matera was truly a gift.

The apartment was centrally located. It was huge. It had a large living room with high ceiling, bedroom was large with a desk and TV where you can stream Netflix, Utube, and a beautiful balcony overlooking a church on a quiet street. Piazza Veneto very visible from the balcony . The kitchen was fully stocked with food and drinks. Never seen before. Host extremely helpful.

If I could, I would give Casal Dragone an 11 out of 10! Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful, welcoming, and full of charm. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, were the owners. They are incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating, always going above and beyond to make sure guests have everything they need. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend Casal Dragone to anyone looking for a memorable stay.

After 3 weeks of traveling thru southern italy, we booked this apartment, and it didn't disappoint . IT was by far the best stay of our entire trip!!..Beautiful apartment, super well equipped, immaculately clean, beautiful bathroom.. Great working Wi-Fi. nice view of the countryside from the balcony ..Nice terrace in front with outdoor furniture.. A washing machine was available at no extra cost..Secure parking inside property accessible with remote control.. Electric shutters on windows .The fridge was stocked with water and fruit juices , jams, and yogurts for breakfast at your own leisure in the apartment.. The espresso machine is there too with pods and milk . Croissants and various little cookies for breakfast also .It is all set up if you want to cook and well equipped..It's about 6 kms ( about 8 min) from the sights in Matera ,we chose not to stay in the city and didn't regret it..Accessing the sights in Matera from here is very easy , there are Parking structures available all around and very close just a couple of blocks away... THE host are gracious and obviously take great pride in their business, and it shows .We highly recommend this B&B when visiting this area .Thank you, Giusy and husband, for making this an exceptional 2 nights stay..

We stayed here for two days and really enjoyed it! The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. The host was very friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. I would gladly come back!

We love every minute we’d been staying. The place is very cosy, clean, spacious, & very comfortable. The owner Tina & her son are ones of the best hosts we have ever met who pays attention to the details, caring, & very kind. Highly recommend !! We ‘d love to come back and stay again. Grazie mille.

Bathroom was pristine, bed very comfortable, equiped with refrigerator and cookware. You will be alone in a small house, so you enjoy privacy, private bathroom of course and management of your own time. You will be around 20 minutes apart from the Sassi of Matera and around 5 minutes from a very good supermarket. If you have car, you can park it as we did, just at the street in front of the house.
