The room was very clean and spacious, and everything was well maintained. The staff were extremely warm, friendly, and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is conveniently located just a short drive from Matera, making it an ideal choice for travelers planning to visit and explore Matera. Free parking was a big plus — there were plenty of parking spaces available, and it was completely free. Breakfast was complimentary and offered a wide variety of choices, all very enjoyable. As a lovely surprise, when we checked out, the hotel even gave us some homemade pasta, which was a really thoughtful and memorable touch. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Matera

We loved everything about this place! Beautiful location with views we couldn’t believe. The apartment was even nicer than the pictures- the floor to ceiling windows around the kitchen table are so fantastic when it’s a bit chilly outside. Excellent communication, our host Teresa was super helpful with recommendations for restaurants and the area in general. Having fresh croissants delivered in the morning was such a treat! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay long enough!

Dimore Cedracca is a lovely place to stay. The host met us on arrival and gave us a warm welcome, showing us around the newly renovated apartment. Communication throughout was excellent. The main bedroom was spacious, and the second pull-out bed was a comfortable double—perfect for our needs. Located right next to the town, this place is a hidden gem, and parking nearby was easy and convenient. The host also shared a fun fact about Matera, which added a personal touch to our stay. We really appreciated the coffee and breakfast items provided. Next time I’m in Matera, I’ll definitely stay here again.

There was nothing to complain about. We were satisfied with everything. As we travelled during the low season, we paid a little (in comparison with July-August in Italy). And we got a great location, plenty of space, comfortable beds, cleanliness, and a full kitchen equipment

The view and the overall feeling of the place is lovely and romantic. We enjoyed the beautiful roses outside and the landscape. The room was very spacious Good breakfast, friendly and helpful host. Great value for money.

Our stay at La Volpe La Stella was incredible. Every morning we woke up to birds singing and fresh air on the spacious deck overlooking the beautiful countryside views. From the moment we arrived, Filomena welcomed us with warmth and a smile. She made us feel like family, offering us coffee and taking the time to explain the area and share local recommendations. Our apartment was beautifully decorated, spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and details like lights and outlets on both sides of the bed made the room especially convenient. The small kitchen was basic but well-equipped with a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, and sink — everything needed to prepare a simple meal if desired. One of the many highlights of our stay was breakfast. Each morning we enjoyed fresh eggs along with a wide variety of homemade and freshly prepared items. Coffee was always available throughout the day whenever we wanted it. During breakfast, we also had the opportunity to try Filomena’s olive oil, which was absolutely delicious and made the experience feel even more authentic and personal. An additional note: for those that have a car there is plenty of safe parking and the property is easy to access if you have disabilities or knee problems. We hope to return again!

The host was really nice and helpful. Even though we had some issues with the arrival time, she managed to be there to deliver the keys. She explained everything about the place and was kind. The place was modern and beautiful and was like 50 meters away from one of the "Sassi". A lot of restaurants and things to visit in the surroundings.
