Roberto met us and offered us a coffee, check in was fast and easy,. The pool area was gorgeous, and we had fun with the friendly dogs, cats and donkey. It was a really pleasant stay.

The view and the overall feeling of the place is lovely and romantic. We enjoyed the beautiful roses outside and the landscape. The room was very spacious Good breakfast, friendly and helpful host. Great value for money.

Our stay at La Volpe La Stella was incredible. Every morning we woke up to birds singing and fresh air on the spacious deck overlooking the beautiful countryside views. From the moment we arrived, Filomena welcomed us with warmth and a smile. She made us feel like family, offering us coffee and taking the time to explain the area and share local recommendations. Our apartment was beautifully decorated, spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and details like lights and outlets on both sides of the bed made the room especially convenient. The small kitchen was basic but well-equipped with a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, and sink — everything needed to prepare a simple meal if desired. One of the many highlights of our stay was breakfast. Each morning we enjoyed fresh eggs along with a wide variety of homemade and freshly prepared items. Coffee was always available throughout the day whenever we wanted it. During breakfast, we also had the opportunity to try Filomena’s olive oil, which was absolutely delicious and made the experience feel even more authentic and personal. An additional note: for those that have a car there is plenty of safe parking and the property is easy to access if you have disabilities or knee problems. We hope to return again!

AnnaMaria met us personally to hand off the keys, and show us all the features of the home. Everything was clean and new, they have recently refurbished everything. She provided juice & water in the fridge, coffee, and some special treats. Her family visited us the next morning to say hello, and be sure we had enjoyed our stay. They were delightful hosts! She also recommended local restaurants, and shops with authentic local products. The town of Bernalda was a great place for us to break our driving journey from Puglia back to Napoli. It is an authentic Italian town, without any sign of tourism... walkable, friendly, and scenic located up on a ridge. Not too far from the beaches, or from Matera. It would be a great quiet place to stay a few days, and explore the area. I wish we had more time! We would certainly return to this property if we can swing another Italy trip in the future.
