Cottages in Virpazar

It is truly a rare experience to discover a place while traveling that immediately feels like home, and this was certainly the case for us at Marco's place with him and Sonja taking so much care of the guests. We wholeheartedly recommend staying at this place which is filled with kindness, beauty, and respect for nature. We would be delighted to return in the future. The rooms were equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, and the garden provided a lovely space to relax. The surrounding region offers many, many opportunities for exploration (we loved the recommended hike to the waterfall), although we were unable to see everything during our four-day visit. The availability of bikes was also a big advantage for us, as we were traveling without a car.

It was so peaceful. The birds were really putting on a show and the view is stunning. The cottage is really well done. Marko has done an amazing job making it a sanctuary for his guests. We decided to have the dinner and breakfast prepared by his mother and it was perfect. I would love to stay here again and would definitely recommend.

The terrace and view were amazing and relaxing. The owner and his daughter and son were friendly and reachable all the time, WiFi was good, swimming pool was really cool

We toured by bus then train from Poderica to Skadar. The train is primitive. We were dropped off far outside the unannounced station at night. we jumped down from the open door onto the tracks more than a meter below with our luggage in a dark forest about 500 m. from some lights in the distance and Nancy has mobility issues. The hotel family picked us up an hour later..the station was closed. The family was gracious.

Wonderful rural location with a swimming pool overlooking the mountains. Dinner was very tasty indeed and the host threw in a wine tasting of their delicious wines

Loved the pool and the way the whole complex has been designed, the perfect amount of small houses that are well equipped for a family. Service was exceptional and loved that you had the option to have food cooked for you or you had the facilities to cook for yourself.

It is an amazing experience, especially the dinner. Quiet place where you can walk and have a lovely relaxing time.

Our stay was amazing! The houses are spacious, spotless, and fully equipped with everything you need. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the center of Virpazar, or just a 4-5 minute drive by car. We took a 2-hour boat cruise that Stasa recommended, and it was fantastic! The scenery around Skadar Lake is breathtaking, and we saw many beautiful birds along the way. Stasa was incredibly helpful and always available to assist us at any time of day or night.

Very cute and cosy villa easy walking distance to the lake. Equipped with everything you need to stay/cook. The manager of the place was amazing. Got his friend to pick me up from the bus stop when I had no idea where I was going and even gave me a lift back later at night in the dark when I needed. There's a walking track you can cut through over the train racks between the house and Virpazar so you can miss most of the main road which is sketchy at night. A massive thank you for such amazing hospitality! It's been the best stay in Montenegro yet :)

Everything, it’s just perfect place to have peace of mind. Location is great, close to seaside and also close to lake and all tourist amenities you need to visit in this area.As soon you step on the yard of the house we felt relaxed. House itself has everything we needed and host was great for any questions 24/7, he also lives close to the village so that was great to know if we would have any problems.

This place is absolutely amazing! A big, cozy wooden cottage, super clean, and right next to beautiful Skadar Lake. I loved how spacious it was, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The interior is warm and stylish, making it feel like a home away from home. And the best part? It’s so close to the lake! You can walk there in no time and just enjoy the peaceful nature. If anyone is looking to visit National Park Skadar Lake, this place is great to rent i recommend it 100%!

Best thing was the quick, excellent communication with Milan. He not only gave us recommendations and info from the day we booked until the day we arrived. He even sent us photos for excursions and booked a perfect sunset boat cruise for us. Possibly the best communication with any host ever. Thanks Milan for taking care of us and making sure we have everything we needed or wanted! Isolated quiet location. Away from noise. Wonderful sounds of nature.

Great facilities outside of Virpazar. If you are looking for peace and silence, this is a perfect place. The owner is very nice and gave us a warm welcome.

The family is very nice and hospitable. the apartment is spacious in country style and has a big garden with a beautiful panorama . Good value for money.
