Nestled into native plantings with the birds (lots of Fantails!) flitting about, and perched right off the enchanting Whangamata Stream track, short easy stroll to pristine Lake Taupō.. it was an ideal location for a sisters gathering! Spotlessly clean, comfortable, minimalist luxury.. we all 4 of us loved it!.. and we are very particular.

Not the greatest looking place from the outside but lovely on the inside. The quality of appliances, heaps of stuff in the cupboards, had everything, comfy beds, good shower. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. We were there to do the bike trails and very much enjoyed our time riding in the area.

The generous bachy character. Close to the shops for groceries, but secluded, with an almost rural feeling. Well equipped kitchen. Loved the fact there WASN'T a TV. The fairy lights outside and the hot tub were the perfect end to a day of travelling.

The accommodation had private facilities. Other available accommodation in Mangakino would have meant sharing. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped (except for lack of microwave proof dishes) but this is not clear when looking through the photographs. For example, there appears to be no stove top but there was a stand-alone induction element in the cupboard. This should be made clear.
