This is clearly a family passion project and it shows, everyone in the staff was excellent, super sweet, helpful and available. The facilities were "spot on" for someone looking to find an amazing rural place to stay for relaxed vacation or for a well deserved rest after exploring the surrounding Gerês region. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the services offered were of high quality.

The villa is incredible and the views are breathtaking. The house is neatly decorated and has everything necessary to enjoy a few days in nature. The jacuzzi and pool are great (we didn't use the later as it was really cold in January, but the jacuzzi sure made up for it). The location is close to all sorts of activities in Gerês and Vieira do Minho. Highly recommend and we'll surely try to comeback. Despiste some reviews suggesting it, our ACs worked flawlessly and wi-fi worked great (had a zoom meeting for 4 hours without any problems at all - consistent >100mbp/s speed). Also want to add that we had a (very) small issue with the kitchen that was promptly checked and solved by the host and keeper!

This is a lovely place to stay in Geres, not far from the hiking start points - the tourist office is next door and can provide some info on hikes. We were lucky to have met the hosts; who were so very kind and upgraded our room on second night - if available, do book the two bedroom apartment when traveling with kids .

A special property in a special place with kind hosts. Suitable for those interested in a quiet place, with a beautiful view. The property is designed down to the smallest details and it is obvious that thought and love have been invested in it. Parking is a bit challenging but definitely something that can be overcome.

We loved everything about our stay! We booked the Deluxe Suite with a fantastic view over the valley, the river and the national park and it was absolutely worth it. The location is perfect to explore the national park or just to unwind. The staff was super friendly and breakfast was amazing.

Everything. The owner/host lady welcomed us with the best smile and showed us around. The place is just amazing. Everything looks antique (because it is antique) but in a beautiful way. The breakfast is just great. The lady prepares a big meal, from salty to sweet. You could just eat this for the whole day. Room was super clean!! The location is in a small village where everybody was curious about us, but happy to talk, even if without english...and the village is in the middle of beautiful nature, close to a stunning national park. -bonus note for animal lovers: in the place there are several animals. The ones you will see more often are 2 nice dogs. When we went for a walk in the village, one of them came with us all the way, as it was showing around.
