Cottages in Olhão

A lovely spot in Olhao. I was there is the off-season, but there is lots of communal outdoor space and it looks like it would be a great spot to languish during the summer. And the breakfast was exceptionally good -- fresh fruit and eggs, yum.

A true architectural treat, clearly renovated with craft and attention to detail. We loved everything about our stay: the host's tour, the room, the honesty bar, the bikes available to borrow, the breakfasts, the list goes on! Highly recommend if you like interesting boutique hotels.

Everything was wonderful. Our room was a perfect retreat. Beautiful and peaceful. The hosts were lovely! We did not want to leave.

There is everything you need. WiFi is fast and reliable so you can easily work. Location is perfect; 6 min from the Pingo Doce, 1 min from Panderia, 2 min from the local restaurant with grilled sea food, 7 min from the harbour where you can catch a boat to the islands.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Casa Mar-a-vila. The apartment was well stocked with everything thing needed for an extended stay which we would have happily done had travel plans allowed. The beds were perfect for a good nights rest before exploring the area. In addition to the upstairs bedroom balcony there is a large rooftop terrace, with new furniture, that we would have made more use of on an extended stay. It was a joy to be greeted by the home owner Ana & her daughter, both offering suggestions to help make our short stay in Olhao special. The local property owner/host is a more than worthy recipient of your travel funds. Highly recommend!
