We loved the cabin and the view! The location was close enough to serve as a home base for our planned activities. The cabin was very clean and cozy. It reinvigorated a long-time dream to build one of our own someday - and gave us some ideas! We loved the decor - though some of the axe placements over the bed made us chuckle don't worry though- everything was very securely attached! The bed was super comfy - once I climbed in it. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evenings watching the sunset and the gliders.

Huge , cabin is on top of the mountain for sure. The whole property was gorgeous. Beds were cozy . Very clean , and Very safe . I will definitely come back and stay. Me and my girls have the best pictures ever. The view is breathtaking. Thank you

Once we got up the driveway and had we stayed, the cabin looked generally clean and looked very comfortable. It looked well equipped for a stay and the furnishings seemed to be well maintained. Again, I write "looked" and "seemed" because we left the property after being there 5 hours.

The Downer House is located in Chattanooga, just 3.6 miles from Lookout Mountain and 6.7 miles from Tennessee Aquarium. This vacation home features free private parking and a shared kitchen.

The location was good. The home itself is gorgeous with sprawling spaces for each kid to have their own. Beautiful hard wood floors, cool kitchen. Really neat layout. The yard was great for throwing the football and frisbee. Everything we needed we brought or it was there already.
