Perfectly located on a gorgeous and quiet street, with their own parking spaces. It's just one short block from all of the shops in Windermere, and a great hike to the lookout point for the views. Hop in your car for a short journey to the lake and more shops and restaurants. Beautifully decorated, quiet, and inviting for a night in with a glass of wine in the lobby. The breakfast was lovely too, and the staff were very friendly. Loved all of the details in the room and the property. If you're interested in less touristy food, it's only a 30 minute drive to Ambleside, which has some fantastic restaurants and less tourists.

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness.

The name says it all, a little Hideaway. The room was large with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent and you were also provided with a bouns cake of the day. The location was very central.

Near Windermere village, this striking Victorian mansion house has a conservatory restaurant, free parking and elegant rooms with iPod docks and flat-screen TVs.

This was our last stop of our Scotland road trip and did not disappoint . The room was large and very nicely decorated. We were greeted by a lovely lady who gave us a recommendation for dinner in an Italian restaurant a 10 minute walk from from the hotel , it was amazing . We had a lovely breakfast the next morning before leaving to head home .

Located 10 minutes of walking to Windermere or Bowness, Hawksmoor Guest House has free Wi-Fi and plenty of off-road parking.

The Breakfast Was Fantastic, Staff were all Super Friendly and helpful. Its a fantastic spot for a stroll to the pub for pint and a bite to eat. The Crafty Baa, is well worth a visit.
