The bed and pillows were comfortable. There's a lot of things like, medical clinics etc. within 1km. Easy walking on the sidewalks. Although no grocery stores there are a lot of restaurants, gas stations, coffee shops, and a major bus hub within 850 meters. Brand new LG washer/dryer. The kitchen had a fridge, microwave, 2 burner hotplate and kettle.

I chose this place because rates in Halifax were sky high this weekend. The posting looked acceptable and the price was lower than I hoped for. I knew was I was getting into.
The location is not in Halifax but a nearby suburb. It was super easy and quick to get into town - 15 minutes. It is in an extremely safe, beautiful looking neighborhood. You do need a car to get to most places, but I have one. Parking in the driveway is provided.
One evening it got cold. I couldn't find a way to heat the room so I messaged the owner. Within one or two minutes a heater was at our door. It warmed the room very quickly to the point I had to lower the heat. It was very cosy.
The room is small, but the ad says so. It has everything you need however. A refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, private bathroom with soap, towels. There is a small hallway upon entering the room which was the perfect place to store our luggage and keep it out of the way.
I never actually saw the owner except once in passing where we waved hello to each other. He totally respected guest privacy
I would not hesitate staying here again and totally recommend this place.

We had a girls trip and the property was stunning! You didn’t even have to leave, there was so much to do inside and out! We enjoyed the outdoor kitchen, pool, hot tub and both saunas, the pool table, darts, home theatre & massage chair were a hit inside! We also sat on the deck a lot of our stay enjoying the beautiful view. We had some pretty cute furry visitors to Simba & Lilly who are the sweetest pups! The owners were exceptional answering all of our questions promptly and super friendly!!
