The host was extremely friendly and she gave us extremely useful suggestions to visit Zhangjiajie, the rooms clean and comfortable and the dumplings they cooked for us in the evening the best we had in China!

It was really well located to visit the national park. The staff was super helpful and made the plan for our entire stay, making it really easy for us to just enjoy the experience.

Very beautiful, even on cloudy days. There is a small stream that runs through the property. Gardening is beautiful. Each room is a separate property, lots of privacy, with mountain view.

This place is perfect if you don't mind being off the beaten path. The place is very quiet, we slept really well and woke up to the birds singing outside. The view of the mountain and greenery from our room (Deluxe Twin room) is really nice. The lodge is located in a small village in Yangjiajie very close to the west gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park right by the foot of the mountain.They serve Tujia food, the local cuisine. We tried different dishes every night and they were very tasty. If you are open to trying new cuisine and a true traveler, this place is for you. They have vegetarian dishes too, shredded potatoes, stirfried cauliflower, etc. my favorite is the big bowl of long beans(very tasty). Dino, the host is the most accommodating, hard working and caring host I have ever met. He organized tickets to the park, transfers, and driving and picking up guests at the park's entrance west gate. He also monitors how you're doing while exploring the park during the day by sending you messages. 5 stars for Dino. He is amazing.
