We stayed two nights in the suite on the top floor, which had also kitchenette. The room was very spaceous, ceiling super high, and the bathroom had a separate shower and bath tub. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The location is great for sight seeing on foot. The staff was very friendly and flexible: I booked two rooms by mistake, and they agreed to cancel the second room without any cost (they would've had the right to charge one night for the extra room).
To reach the topmost room you have to climb the stairs from the 3rd floor, where the lift ends.

Beautiful old hotel, carefully preserved but also made very comfortable and with modern amenities. I loved the lion statues outside. It was a privilege to walk up the wide classic divided staircase (lift available) and in the spacious halls.

The people at the reception were very friendly and welcoming. I was very happy and pleased with the service. The only thing I was disappointed about was that I had to ask for towels myself. Other than that, the rooms were very clean and the people at the reception were very helpful in helping me find my way around. Overall, I was very happy with my stay.

The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated the large bathtub and having an elevator to the third floor. Finally, the breakfast was well worth the extra cost.
I am only sorry I did not take advantage of dinner in the beautiful restaurant.
