We stayed for 6 nights, and totally LOVE and ADORE the apt. It was one of the typical old houses: High ceilings, stone walls, and wooden structured ceilings. Big windows- when open the breeze just in. Kitchen and coffee machine. We both worked extensively during the stay. So morning coffee machine is divine- we also bought the capsules to refill. The fully-equipped kitchen is good for making simple salads and enjoying wine during the evenings. The neighborhood is interesting- very very quiet after 10 pm, amazing. The apt is well designed- I like everything. If your height is above 6' then maybe the bathroom and climbing up might be a problem, but for us, it was perfect. Specially it's nice to separate the sleeping space from where we work. The sofa is amazing (the very last night I just fell asleep there so soft) The apt is spacious, clean, full of light, and also not hot- just open the window and the breeze will cool the entire room. The cats across the streets are so cute- every day they come out on the window observe you and pretend not to. The uphill road to the apt could be challenging to people with huge luggage as taxis could not reach there The neighborhood is cute- the tour to explore the "traboule" starts one minute away. Something reminds of us of Italy- the breeze, the house, the chat around the corner, the color of the house, the cat. The host is also wonderful: she brought us chocolate and is super nice and patient answering our questions about the trash category, etc.

Spacious and very clean. Mini fridge with cool water in the room. Possible use of the kitchen. Even washing machine if needed. Flexibility for check out time and possibility to leave luggage after check out time if needed. Pleasant contact with host and his daughter.

Location is amazing. Views are fantastic. Well worth the stairs, Croix Rousse daily market is one block away, the neighbourhood is not full of tourists, truly authentic experience

We loved how meticulously everything was prepared and set out, even though we were staying only one night. The bed was very comfortable and the place immaculately clean.

The Lost Inn Tropical Oasis in Lyon's 1st Arrondissement was the last stop on our month long tour of France. It was a perfect accommodation for comfort, convenience, and relaxation. The location was perfect- across the river with a view of vieux Lyon. It was a fairly easy 30-40’ walk to the old Lyon, the Notre Dame de Fourviers and, on the other side of the city, the Halles and the Museum of Fine Arts. The apartment was super clean, comfortable, with everything needed for a great stay. The hosts were extremely welcoming and gave us a lot of information about the area- including a great open-air market with a great boulangerie across the road. We really enjoyed our stay!

Located in a 19th-century building in Lyon, SLO Hostel Lyon les Pentes is located a 6-minute walk from Place des Terreaux and a minute-walk away from the nearest metro station.
