Great location in the heart of Old Lyon. Public parking is nearby, and the flat is easy to find. It is accessed via a medieval spiral staircase, and there are a lot of stairs. If stairs are a problem for you, you'll want to choose a different place. The main room is spacious and well-appointed, with a delightful mix of original walls and beams, yet all mod cons. I loved that there were maps and brochures for the top tourist sites and restaurants, and a binder from the host chock full of useful information about Lyon. Note that the loft space where the bed is located is quite small and has a low ceiling. It's cozy and comfortable but takes getting used to. Host Laurent was soooo responsive and generous! We were met in person and given keys. There was also a lock box and door codes. Laurent checked in with us throughout the visit to make sure all was well. You'll be hard-pressed to find a more congenial host.

Extraordinary location, in an historical convent, perfectly maintained. Courtesy of the staff is far above any expection. At the arrival since our room was not ready we were upgraded to a suite. The furniture in the common areas of the hotel is extraordinary and make this luxury location an amazing experience. The heated pool with the stunning view over Lyon is top.
