Hotels in Mantrijeron, Yogyakarta

I was worrying a bit when I read the reviews. Smelly bathrooms, mosquitoes everywhere, no breakfast options, broken door locks... But either we got lucky with our rooms or the hotel has improved since. The outside and courtyard with swimming pool look gorgeous. The big lobby is equally impressive. We did experience a broken lock with one of the rooms, but staff fixed that electronically within minutes. I spotted 1 mosquito in the room, may he rest in peace. Breakfast options are mostly local. Gudeg, rice, fruit, but also slices of bread. Lastly the bathrooms were fine and didn't smell.

Hotel was in excellent location to reach historical sites. Many restaurants close by offering a wife range of cuisine. Room was good size with good ac and lighting. Water provided

Host is super friendly. Room were clean and comfortable. Money valued is very good. Highly recomended if you ever visit yogya. I am going back for another 3 days

We love the pool, staff and location. The hotell looks like locals houses in Yogjakarta, than modern hotell. This what we are looking for (contextual culture). Chilling next to the pool, sunbathing and have a bintang. Powerfull AC, polite staff, good price and many restaurants-cafes near by.

The staff are friendly, the facilities are modern, and the breakfast spread is exceptional.

Super amazed with the breakfast they served. Lots of choices and very tasty.

The place is in the middle of city. Can even rent a motorbike from the hotel.
