It was centrally located in town. Walkable area. Shops, restaurants and grocery stores were very close. Unit was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. Bathroom/shower well stocked with towels, hairdryer, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Washer/dryer in bathroom too with laundry pods.

Bridge Backpackers is located conveniently in Nelson, and has a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge.

I used the new laundry facilitiy and my hiking gear came back out sparkling. The kind staff let me store my spare bag for a few days while I was away hiking The Able Tasman Costal Track. My return stay was even better.

The view was stunning, we enjoyed the sunset from the terrace and later also from the lounge area inside. The kitchen, bedroom and bathroom were clean, spacious and very well equipped. The info pack with recommendations and background story of the owners gave the stay a personal touch.
