Location is the best, walking distance from everything, the staff were great, extra helpful!

We booked a private room with a bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy.

I think we booked our rooms during a much less cheaper season, and this really made it feel like the value i was getting was 100x more than I paid for.

The staff was so friendly. Everyone, from the front desk to the cleaning staff were so polite and it absolutely stood out. They would say, “hello” and ask how we are but it felt genuine, no patronizing. Made the experience very comfortable and this hotel really appealing. The rooms were comfortable and the amenities in the hotel were nice.

The hotel has very good location, just a few minutes by walk from the downtown. They have great staff - very friendly and helpful and despite of rather big traffic during the day at the reception they were always easily reachable and available to talk to and also able to advice on any topic I addressed to them. They had fresh water throughout the day and also complimentary coffee + tea in the lobby in the morning (and the coffee actually tasted quite good compared to what you get elsewhere). My room with city view on 15th floor was amazing - spacious with two closets, sofa with leg rest and a nice working desk right next to the window, great view over the city. The room was clean and the room design and overall decoration was to my liking. Good quality and pleasant bed linen, good matrass and pillows - I slept better than home, to be honest. The hotel is just a minute of walk to train station of the red line and around 15 minutes by walk to the blue line (or you can take the red one and change on the next stop to the blue).

Location is perfect. lively lobby, essentials available in the market, walking distance to everything. Parking across the road is cheaper than valet and it's in an open lot. Overall, this is our go to!

I had a wonderful stay at The Drake. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city—making it easy to explore nearby attractions. The building itself has a historic charm, yet everything is meticulously maintained. My room was spacious, comfortable, and felt very inviting. I went to see The Phantom of the Opera, and getting to and from the theater via Lyft was very convenient. Breakfast at the hotel café was delightful and felt very homey. I especially appreciated that they offered coffee to go—it was such a thoughtful touch. I would highly recommend The Drake to anyone visiting Chicago!
