The property is absolutely beautiful. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The location was Central to every single thing we wanted to go to so we were able to walk.

My room was clean and spacious. The hotel itself was lovely and looked, for lack of a better word, quite fancy. I loved it. The location was excellent. There's a tram stop right outside and a train station city and regional trains within a 10-15 minute walk. I was there for a concert at the Lanxess Arena, and that was also just a 10-15 min stroll away. I actually booked the hotel mainly for its location and reasonable price and was delighted with just how luxurious my stay was. I definitely think I got more than I paid for! Staff were always lovely, and room service arrived promptly. Now for a subject I am truly passionate about; hotel breakfast! A lot of people seem to not like them or prefer to seek out their own breakfasts when on holiday, but personally I think they are an integral part of the hotel experience and often a delight. And oh boy did this one deliver! The selection was excellent, tied for the largest I have encountered. The quality of the items was mostly very good too. It perhaps wasn't the highest quality hotel breakfast I have ever had, but never before have I encountered one which such high quality and such a large selection. Highlights for me include the eggs, which were done 4 ways every morning, all of which were good. The omelettes were standouts for me though. The sweet baked goods were also great and never had that staleness you sometimes see at buffets. The tea was good too, high quality silk sachets, as good as you can get from anything that isn't loose leaf. The one letdown were the fruit juices. They were that watered concentrate crap you expect, which was a shame, but it does seem to be an industry standard. All in all that is a tiny nitpick though. I definitely think this a top three hotel breakfast contender for me!

Moxy hotels never disappoint. The room was clean, the bathroom also and there was enough space for two people and maybe even a third to just hang around.

Everything was excellent. Location was only few meters away from the Cathedral, so in the heart of the city. Breakfast had plenty of choices, also breakfast room was very nice. Very good sound isolation. We did not hear any voices from outside of the hotel or from the inside (other rooms). Room was confortable and had every detail needed in a hotel room. Also proper size with good heating which is adjustable. And very pleasant and helpfull staff in all areas -reception, breakfast room.

We arived half an our early and the room was ready to chek in. The chek in went smooth and fast. Location was nice with lots of facilities around. Price was good for a night with breakfast included.

The staff was really friendly on our arrival, and the process of everything was smooth checking in and out. The room was clean and tidy and with a romantic touch to celebrate our anniversary. The breakfast fruit bowls were by far my favourite thing. My only regret is that I wish we could have stayed longer there.

I love this hotel. We only spent one night and had dinner and breakfast. The food was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and they had the sofa bed ready and made for our children. Our kids really enjoyed there time in the pool. Would definitely recommend.

Location , staff and room amenities

The location was exceptional, we went for the Christmas Markets in Cologne and the main Market is just a few meters away. Koln hbf is also a few meters away. The room was clean and big. The whole stay was pleasant. No complaints. Would come back to this place.

At first, we had a few issues with the manager, but we were able to resolve them. The apartment was close to the metro and it’s also possible to reach the city center on foot. We arrived in the evening, and the manager was friendly and did not charge any extra fees.

Comfortable room with queen bed and lounge chair. Excellent shower with digital control of water temperature, overhead rain shower and multi-function hand held shower. Breakfast buffet was beyond expectation with just about anything you'd want for hot and cold food. Exercise room was well equipped with adjacent sauna room, bathrooms with lockers, showers and plenty of towels and even slippers to wear in the sauna to walk on the hot surface. Truly a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Very clean and modern and friendly staff

Very close to the main train station and the cathedral. Our room was very spacious, bigger than anything we’ve experienced in Europe. Shower was awesome, had a very good blow dryer, bed was great and comfortable. Room was warm and cozy, and silent to really rest after a day of lots of walking around. I did not have breakfast there but there are great options close by. Staff was really nice and welcoming. I was able to leave our luggage prior to check-in and also after check-out as our train was a little bit later.

It had AC!! The room was charming, bed was comfortable, liked the breakfast at the connected restaurant, and I loved that my room looked out to the terrace. It was a lovely stay and not a crazy walk to the Cathedral.

I liked the auto concept and the museum and car show that was held on my last day there!
