The rooms are modern, clean with a nice view (balcony, mountain-facing room). The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was reasonable.

Clean room, comfortable bed, quiet in the evening, easy parking, sauna, pool, super friendly staff, amazing breakfast, location. There is no single thing to complain about!!

Stayed here with my family for new years eve. The hotel is beautiful, staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are very comfortable and cosy. Our new years eve experience here was just perfect. I couldn't recommend it enough. The food and dancing was such fun. Thank you to all for making our experience in Ettal unforgettable.

Easy access and parking for our large van. The host was quick to answer questions and very kind. The apartment is very well stocked with everything you might need to eat/prepare meals. There is also a cabinet available with extra toiletries/essentials in case those were forgotten. There are many fliers available with information about various places to visit and things to do. The visitor cards were a nice surprise with many options for use. The area is beautiful and we wished we could have explored/enjoyed it for a few more days.

The apartment was extremely clean, the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and utensils, the mattresses were very comfortable, the shower was AMAZING, and the mountain view from the windows and balcony was beautiful. The location was convenient for walking to restaurants and bakery/cafes, the monastery, and some hiking trails, and convenient for driving to various other attractions in the area.

Conveniently located from major tourist spots. 15 mind drive to Garmisch. 40 mins to Füssen

Accommodation is perfect for a family. So much of space. Everything is available in the kitchen for self cooking. Hassle free parking.

American family of 4,spending 2 nights in February. Easy enough check-in at a downtown hotel desk. A short drive to apartment and parking space in front of building. Apartment is a new-build so clean and modern. Fantastic shower, comfortable bed. Ample room for a short visit. Kitchen was well stocked for basic stove top cooking only. Nice view and great location. Short walk to the main town and restaurants. A very pleasant stay at a fair rate. The owners were very accommodating and we appreciate it :)

It was quiet, well taken care of, and Anka was very gracious. Fresh flowers on the breakfast table added a special touch!

Our hosts had a very clean and comfy place. The views from the patio exceeded my expectations and so did the very nice restaurant next-door. We could walk to everything and the town was full of very friendly local people. We had no issues with parking and really appreciated this.

We loved the design and ambience. The building was mostly made of sauna wood that gave off soothing scent and texture. Very organic feeling. Every corner seems to contain thoughtful design and aesthetics. The outdoor heated pool with view of churches and Zugspitze was breath-taking. Exactly like photos and better. The fire suite was very cozy with luxurious interiors, dining areas, bar & stools, 2-basin wash areas with rain shower and extra large bath tub for 2, veranda with view of Kurpark, and a modernized fireplace.

Breakfast was very good and the staff was exceptional.

Great breakfast selection, a wonderful room with an excellent view, and a thoughtful Easter touch with complimentary chocolates and cookies.

The room was amazing and SO spacious. The suites have 2 floors, balcony, sitting room, and large bedroom, bathroom, and closet upstairs. Loved this stay!

The family owned faciltiy, warm dinner, and breakfast were more than our expectations. The owner Wolfgang was and his staffs are so warm. We loved this inn.

Second stay at this vacation apartment and will be back. Loved the space (it's an actual apartment not just a room saying it's an apartment) consisting of a hallway, bed room, large bathroom with rain shower option and a sauna (three/four person), a living space (separated by a door to promote quietness) with two balconies, a well stocked kitchen (smallish refrigerator but norm for Germany). Location can't be beat. Easy to walk to multiple groceries (10 minutes), the central part of Oberammergau with shopping and dining options. Owner is super friendly and available.
