It’s a beautiful and comfortable hotel in an excellent location for hiking and biking. Our suite overlooked the lake and mountains with an incredible view. The breakfast was fresh, healthy and delicious.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming apartment near the lake, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with our experience. The apartment is ideally situated in a quiet neighborhood, just a short walk from the lake. The proximity to the lake was one of the highlights of our stay. We enjoyed serene morning walks along the shoreline and spent leisurely afternoons by the water, taking in the stunning views. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. It comfortably accommodated our family of five, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. Our host was incredibly welcoming and attentive.

The space was perfect and comfortably accommodated two people, but could handle more. The room has private access behind the Kaffeehaus and boasts mountain views in both directions. Parking on the premises is easy and there is a bus station right in front for easy travel that way. The host family was very gracious and provided a stellar breakfast. I would highly recommend having a coffee and cake there as well! There are a couple of restaurants in the village, or you could drive ten minutes to Mittenwald for more options. There are also plenty of hiking trails from Krün.

Loved my view over the street and mountains. Very private room. Elevator! Excellent breakfast. Gorgeous architectural features appropriate and relevant for Mittenwald. Close to restaurants (although most were closed when we were there). Warm enough despite very cold outside weather.
