Bright, spacious clean room with a terrace. Superb onsen and sauna. It feels a bit like a motel. Plenty of parking out front. The attached restaurant makes good snacks. The young staff are friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. I recommend a day trip to Mt Yufu (see photo) - about 25km inland - a nice drive away from the urban sprawl

Host had good communication, checking in mid stay to make sure i everything was still good, that i had everything I needed. The house was very traditional, but with ample heating for staying off season. Great base for hiking in Kunisaki area. On the outskirts of a quite town, but walkable to the train station, and supermarkets. Perfect for a restful break if your traveling for a longer time.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this cozy inn in the heart of the Kunisaki peninsula. The hosts were very kind and understanding of my plans. The house is well-situated to start the main hiking trails of the area, and the hosts took care to coordinate with me for meal times. On days where I just wanted to relax, they made sure I had plenty of space and quiet to do so. The meals were all excellent, and the western-style room was very comfortable. I highly recommend this spot for any traveler looking to explore this unique part of Japan.

Right beside Fuki-ji, allowing for zen experience in the morning. Food was delicious. Staff were cute and helpful and friendly. Local artisanal products subtlety on display!
