The name “Kamisama to Hotokesama to” was inspired by the unique culture of Usa and Kunisaki, where Shinto and Buddhism have coexisted for more than 1,300 years. Experience a unique stay in Usa, a region where Shinto and Buddhism have coexisted for centuries. Located near Usa Jingu, the head shrine of all Hachiman shrines in Japan, our traditional Japanese house offers an opportunity to explore the rich spiritual heritage of the Kunisaki Peninsula and Rokugo Manzan culture, where temples, shrines, and nature have been deeply connected for over a thousand years. The house is a renovated traditional home consisting of two connected buildings, creating a spacious and distinctive layout with a nostalgic atmosphere. With 138㎡ of private space, it is ideal for families, friends, or travelers seeking a peaceful retreat away from busy city life. Free parking is available directly in front of the house. Check-in and check-out times can often be adjusted when possible, so please feel free to ask. The house is equipped with five air conditioners, a washing machine, and a clothes dryer to help make your stay comfortable. As this is an older Japanese home, you may notice seasonal characteristics such as summer heat or winter cold. We do our best to ensure a pleasant stay while preserving the charm and character of the building. You may also encounter some small pieces of rural Japanese life, such as neighborhood cats or the sound of a morning siren. We hope these become part of your experience of the local countryside.
