Family hotels and homes in Sintra

The hotel is beautiful, clean and well maintained. Lovely gardens, peace and tranquility. The staff are professional, kind and helpful. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, with quality products- I particularly enjoyed the coffee and the orange juice. Travelers with children should know that the indoor pool is adults only from 9-11 a.m and from 19-21 p.m. It is very clearly stated- at the front desk, in the elevators, at the entrance of the pool. But ,of course, at 20 p.m, there was a couple with two young children. Well, we complained to the front desk and they quickly shooed them away. So, please, don't be those entitled parents. You have all day to enjoy the pool- follow the rules and let other guests enjoy it for a couple of hours without screeching, screaming and splashing.

Fabulous house, felt like royalty staying here. You can see the Moorish Castle from the deck. Breakfast was tasty and very convenient.

This little place was so charming and the location could not have been better. It was nice and quiet at night and you could see some of the beautiful sights from our bedroom window. We were totally surprised because it's listed at a hotel but it's really more like a bed and breakfast in. I can't wait to go back everyone was wonderful I loved it and so did my cousin. She was visiting from california.

Pleasant hotel. Family room for 4 was really large and comfortable for 3 adults and 1 kid, we even got 2 bathrooms in it which made things easier for us. Staff was always helpful and very nice. Our little one loved the piano and even had a cute surprise at the end. Breakfast was also great, there was a very good real bread.

Great location within a 5 minutes walking distance to the historical center. It feels like a movie setting. Nice garden wlth a bunny, sitting area and peace. The room was decorated wlth care and makes you feel special. I would return❤️

Such a wonderful little boutique hotel at a reasonable price! The two young ladies that manned the front desk were delightful & took great care in helping us get the most out of our short visit to Sintra. Comfortable bed, great shower & our room opened up onto a patio with with terrace below. 24 hour espresso machine, afternoon pastries & a nice breakfast buffet with good variety (from healthy cereal & (dairy & non-dairy) milk to pancakes & pastries). Very convenient to train station & just a pleasant, short & mostly flat walk into the historic center. We can't wait to return!

Our family had a fantastic time at Casa Do Marco! The remote location makes it peaceful and quiet, it’s surrounded by astonishing nature. At the same time you’re always just a 15-20 minute drive from all nice places - the ocean, the castles, Sintra, etc. It was convenient and accessible. The house itself is Beautiful and very cozy! All rooms seem great! Aside from the main house, there are new rooms which look Gorgeous and are facing the pool and the garden! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the delicious breakfast and the overall vibe. Most of all - Mafalda’s hospitality! It is absolutely unmatched! We are so grateful to her for everything she did for us. We really hope to go back! 10/10 for us!

The whole place is wonderful! We were very well received, our room corresponds 100% to the photos, it is very well decorated and spacious. The house is very quiet and has a very pleasant outdoor space. Breakfast was very well served and very complete. Good accessibility with space to leave the car at the door

This is an outstanding little inn with small intimate public spaces to sit and read a book. I go to Sintra to stay at Lawrence’s.

Location, close to historic area

Very friendly and welcoming guest. Comfortable flat centrally located just hundred metres away from the train station from Lisbon, with a front view on the royal Palace. It made my stay very convenient and pleasurable
