We spent several nights here and were struck by how serene everything was. The setting is lovely without being overly dramatic, and the evenings were particularly soothing. There was a private dinner by the beach one evening, which felt cozy and well-planned.

Everything was very good. I have to give extra credit to the staff. They take really good care of you. The food was always fresh and delicious.

Back side pool is excellent. Close to the beach. Delicious buffet breakfast. Great dinner (a la carte). Recommend to take half board, you will like it. Nice game area: billiard, table tennis, table football...

The room was well designed with direct access to the beach. The ambience was very elegant and the design is well thought through. We really loved the amenities like beach towels, hats, etc kept for us. This was one of the best place we have stayed this year and great value for money! Highly recommended.

Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The apartment was finished to an exceptionally high standard, with fantastic facilities and superb internet. Having a dedicated office space was invaluable as I work remotely, and the swimming pools plus the wide breakfast selection made the experience even better. I would recommend The Oasis Residence without hesitation, especially for families. The staff were outstanding, consistently going the extra mile and truly enhancing our stay. A special mention goes to Joseph, who drove my wife and daughter with exceptional care while I was working. He is an incredibly safe and reliable driver, and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing transport in the evenings, when taxis or tuk‑tuks can be difficult to find.

The property and location are beautiful. It’s set away from the busier areas of Jambiani and Paje, but is a relatively short walk to each of these places. There are lots of comfortable loungers for the pool and beach, all with umbrellas. There is also a sandy area with tables and chairs where people can lounge/play cards/have a drink. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. The AC and wifi worked great. The restaurant on the property has excellent Italian food and the prices are reasonable for the quality. The breakfast that was included was also very generous and delicious. Our favourite part of our stay was the incredible staff and family that run the place. They made us feel at home during our entire stay and we are very grateful to them. Truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

I stayed at Blue Moon Hotel Zanzibar, and it truly felt like a little tropical escape away from everything. The hotel has such a peaceful, beautiful atmosphere — perfect for relaxing and recharging. The property is well maintained and surrounded by greenery, which really gives you that exotic island feeling. My room was clean, cozy, and comfortable — always nice to come back to after a day in the sun. What I loved most was the overall vibe: calm, unhurried, and ideal for a proper отдых where you can just slow down. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always smiling and ready to help. You can really feel that they care about the guests, and that makes a big difference in the whole experience. Waking up in a place like this, surrounded by nature and close to the ocean, is something special. If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic stay in a tropical setting, Blue Moon is a great choice. I would happily come back again 💙

I had an excellent stay at this hotel The staff were welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere made my visit truly enjoyable. We stayed at Zanzistar as a large family (grand-parents and two family sub-groups with many kids). The facilities are beautiful and give a wonderful beach holiday feel, it's secluded and quiet, with a beautiful pool and very well set-up eating spaces (both by the beach with a beach club and by the main area for dinner). The staff were very accomodating to our large food orders, early dinner hours, etc which was very appreciated. The family room was very pretty and comfortable.

Charming and quiet boutique hotel with 2 pools. The hotel is well maintained and extremely clean. The rooms are nicely decorated and the bed is very comfortable. Great water pressure (which is not always the case in the island). Delicious breakfast (I loved the avocado toasts). Only 1 minute away from the beach with nice bars / restaurants around. Also a lot of delicious local restaurants in the village only 10 minutes away by walk. The staff is really friendly and welcoming and helpful. The staff are friendly, helpful and go out of their way for you. The rooms are nice and the property is beautiful. The location is a little less central than other spots in Jambiani so if you’re looking for a quieter spot this is a great option. It’s walking distance to all of the other spots you’d want to go in Jambiani. It’s a beachfront property with fewer people on the beach and not many people trying to sell anything. The food in the restaurant is great. There are monkeys on the property which is fun.

Olamanga was exactly what I needed. A wonderful property with sand everywhere, a gorgeous lounge area with pool and lush tropical surroundings that made it incredibly easy to just switch off and unwind. There are plenty of spots to lounge around the property, and I genuinely spent a lot of my three nights here simply enjoying the space rather than venturing out. Ralu and Lee who run the property are genuine, friendly, and supportive with any request. The staff are equally helpful and attentive. The in-house restaurant and bar serves meals throughout the day with a great cook, so you never feel the need to go far for food. My terrace room was a decent size with a very generous seating area and its own kitchenette, well equipped, clean, and provided with all the essentials. A lovely touch I didn't anticipate was Ralu's aromatherapy diffuser in the room. I didn't think much of it at first but after spending enough time there, the difference in ambience was genuinely noticeable and added to the overall sense of calm. The beach is a one-minute walk away and absolutely gorgeous, noticeably less crowded than other beaches on the island. In-house massage services can also be arranged. And if you love cats, two resident ones are always lounging around the property. Give them a few pets from me.

Alma Butique Hotel is an excellent place for people who want to detox and relax in a calm environment. Hotel is small (around 30 guests maximum; we benefitted even from the smaller presence) and with its beautiful garden guarantees privacy. It was open in 2022 so rooms have a brand new tasteful (boho style) equipment. The polite and kind houskeeping ensured that rooms an teracces were clean, drinking water supplied regularly (in big glass bottles) and we had a choice of teas (we could prepare them having a kettle) as well as coffee and coffee machine. The joint pool (we had also a small private one) allows swimming during low tide. Breakfasts were very good, notably as concerns warm dishes from the menu, prepared upon our requests. We loved having long breakfasts followed with a coffee at the terrace while enjoying the beatiful view at the garden and ocean with a gentle and warm breeze. The staff was very nice and always helpful (notably as concerns organizing excursions and transfer). One of us benefitted from spa (excellent masagge!).

One of the coziest and homiest hotels I’ve been too. The most inviting and welcoming staff and owners! Loved the rooms and the pool and the restaurant without any faults! The food was awesome and the owners and staff made us feel right at home❤️❤️

Everything really, well located right on the beach. Beautiful space, feels like a boutique hotel. It is small & intimate, boasting about 7 villas I think meaning there’s never more than 7 groups of people. The space is cozy, rustic and modern all at once. The staff is very attentive, helpful & kind. The restaurant food was amazing especially the breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay very much. All the staff we met were very welcoming and professional. Breakfast was tasty, as were the other meals we had. The bed was comfortable, with mosquito nets and air conditioning. There's plenty of storage space in the room. The hotel is walking distance to the beach. We appreciated that the hotel supports a school for children with disabilities which is on the same compound.
