We had an amazing stay at this place! The houses are beautifully designed with high quality materials and are perfectly heated, making them super cozy and comfortable. The surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning! The host was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home and the breakfast was simply delicious. The road to get there isn’t the easiest, but it’s absolutely worth it once you arrive. Plus, the sky is dark enough to see the northern lights and we were lucky enough to witness them - an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and high-quality stay.

Was warm and cosy and decor was quirky and fun. We enjoyed our brief stay and it was nice to park at the door in the pouring rain.

Location was excellent Easy check in instructions though a bit more clear labeling at the main reception window guiding directions to the apartment ( instead of an arrow) would be ideal. Clean when checked in however there was a damp smell on my bedspread ( only mine the rest of the family were not impacted).

Very large family room, very clean and comfortable. Not as hot as other rooms in Iceland had been. Tasy breakfast with large selection. View to the harbor from the window. As a surprise to us there was a church in the building and morning mass on Sunday - just an observation.

Comfortable, well equipped and clean apartment with an amazing view. We booked this apartment last minute and were amazed by it. We are sad to only have stayed for one night. The landlady was very responsive and kind enough to manage a crib last minute for us, absolutely recommended!

Very friendly staff. Beautiful house with lovely decor. However, nobody cleaned the room/made the beds during our 2 nights stay. Breakfast was excellent but not included in room price. In our room (nro 3) the bathroom tiles were loose and the water drainage wasn’t funtioning in the shower. Excellent location in the town center.

Very secluded family hotel not far from all the sites of the peninsula. Old-school, family-run place which was actually a lot of fun for us; it felt like we were stepping back in time. Friendly owners, hearty food, comfy vibe, wood-cabin style building. Decent-sized, quiet room w/ a good shade. Ample breakfast.

The apartment is spatious and very functional. A lot of kitchenwear, incl a good coffee machine, CDs, books, etc. The deck on the ocean is beautiful, at high tide we were regularly visited by a couole of Grey seals, but it was a nice spot to look at birds (Eiders with chicks, Artic terns, various gulls incl glaucous, redshank, starling, etc etc). The position is great to visit the central/western part of the peninsula.
