The resort is quiet, family-friendly, surrounded by nature, and ideally located for those who want to explore the beautiful Snæfellsnes peninsula. Midhraun - Lava Resort is a family-run resort offering cozy rooms, inviting cottages, apartments, and spacious houses with mountain and lava views. Available for individuals and groups. Our family restaurant, Hlaðan Restaurant, is on-site and is a great stop for anyone heading to the peninsula and for guests staying at our hotel. Hraun böð our geothermal baths, friendly farm animals, playground and lava fields, make the atmosphere adventurous. The Snæfellsnes peninsula is known for its dramatic landscapes and is the only part of our beautiful country where you can see all of our unique natural elements in only a few hours' drive. Additionaly we can host private parties such as weddings, reunions, courses, and more We can offer activities such as yoga and dance lessons when booked in advance.
